might be a layover from another job too. it would be an insult to whms everywhere to call my gearset even half assed, with all it inherits from other jobs just to save some cash. i still use an apollo's staff to cure b/c i've not even bothered to get a templar mace and numinous shield or whatever your offhand choice may be. curing with an HQ staff may look like a gillbuyer's mistake, but it's HQ b/c of my brd and my bst set, not for the white border on whm.

That's her first and only job to 75, we're sure she's a gilbuyer (Or like I said, has a rich b/f ;o ) because she never stopped leveling, aside from doing missions. Mostly I'm just questioning the poor equipment choice with lotsa money to spend/waste, that's a big tip-off to me all the time <_<;

I afforded a noble's that was 4-8x as expensive (2004) relative to what it costs now by 68. it really isn't that hard.

to spekkio: I'd never question a whitemage who chose to cure with a staff, in fact; if they did pick the staff I'd prefer if they *did* get the HQ, simply because at least then you're maximising the benefits you get out of it (mostly increased light-spell effect) versus giving up the secondary slot.

heck, if they make a good enough grip, you may even see alot of templar whitemages switching back to light/apollo's.

Wasn't townwear, someone in my LS partied with her shortly after and noticed the same thing

And 95% of all WHMs have a hardon for max MP for merit, save MND Gear for Cure V and HP for Devotion.

which is amusing since max mp means almost nothing in merit (it's all about the hmp and cure potency/regen potency yo.)

although someone in 3-4 pieces of zenith, a blue cape+1 and serket with a med ring is fine too (latent hp).


I'd assume her main is probably a healing staff too, but since there's a darkstaff on top of it there's no way to tell really.

in all seriousness, except for the jet's there's nothing abnormal or unique about that whm setup (it's just very generic and not particularly optimized).

Hachiman feet are actually pretty acceptable in terms of filling out a 6-hit setup, nothing wrong with a SAM who TPs in them. Granted Usukane feet are about a hundred times better but thats not the point.

But that SAM is gimped to hell anyway so its a moot point Merely the act of owning a Hachiman Domaru is a bad sign, with the exception of /RNG WS... (even then I'd probably shoot in osode)

Yeah, Hachiman feet are best for a 6hit build imo, That + Rajas + Brutal + merits = +21, leaving handslot open for Attack gloves.

Hachiman is good. I am pretty far from that level but can't think of a better WS piece for /rng.

I see no problem using it for Single hit WS'. Honestly, i got mad +Acc gear and I'm farming too weaks and I'm missing Tachi: Koki (don't ask why i'm using it, it looks cool is all)

Haub for normal WS, Osode if you're SA'ing it.

If I didn't have an Osode, I'd stick to the Haub anyway because imo +10 attack will probably do more for you than +3 STR. Plus, hachi domaru is fugly But now I'm just derailing this thread so... carry on!
