Given how fucked up Ulli was (and now Despot), I can see getting a fully upgraded relic weapon before getting B. Haidate. Cerb Mantle (+1) would be more ideal than current piece, and should be easily affordable for someone who upgraded a relic weapon. NQ amemet would make me go wtf for someone with a relic weapon though.

I know it was a joke, but I'm thinking that they're Dusk+1 and he has them for another job as well.

I agree that it's not that bad though. I'd change the Belt for one with haste, but otherwise everything is good or at least decent (str ring is iffy I guess, but I'd assume he has full katana merits and it's Hope Torque)

For the NIN, it's possible that he was in his WS gear rather than his TP gear? I know I often switch out of mine when I'm not fighting because of the movement down effect on dusk.

Holy crap he's right, none of that gear gives MP except that, and since he's not using Virtue Stones, he has to be using Rune Choppah. (I hope to god anyways) I guess he might use Suppa or something normally, and using a 2H weapon he doesn't have to anymore, but he needs MP for it to work so...
