BLU in CoP 6-4, anyone got some advice?

I've been hearing a lot since BLU came out that BLU is absolutely killer on the CoP 6-4 BCNM (Mammets/Omega/Ultima). The static group that I'm leading is getting towards 6-4, and we have a couple people that can come BLU. I was hoping I might be able to find some advice on what's the best things they can do in this BCNM.

What subjob is best? /NIN would be good since they'll probably be soloing a Mammet, but I heard SACA Death Scissors is good for Omega and Ultima.

What spells should they equip? I figure at least Head Butt and Death Scissors, probably Wild Carrot too, but what else would be useful for them?

Will they have to plan on resetting spells as soon as they get into the BCNM? I think I heard that going into a level capped BCNM makes you have to reset your spells, but I'm not sure on that.

I'm not too familiar with BLU, so I apologize if I sound kind of silly, but I'd like to help out my CoP groups in the best way I can.

    Thanks in advance. =D

    My advice:
Head Butt. Let me show you it.

Also, use a NIN sub. Having no shadows is just begging for you to get laid out by Equalizers.

BLU is so damn powerful in this fight- check this setup out that went 1/1 on PM 6-4 on my run.....there is no godly reason we should have won if our BLU had been any other job:

    NIN/WAR
    PLD/NIN (in DD setup...lol @60)
    BLU/NIN
    BLM/WHM
    WHM/BLM
    RDM/WHM (me)

Not nearly enough damage one would say. Our BLU soloed 2 Mammets in the time it took any of us to solo one (WHM acting support while the other 5 of us soloed/held one each)....the BLU took care of his, then jumped over to assist the PLD/NIN, etc etc.

Head butt and Death Scissors are what's key here. Even without the SA Death Scissors he was constantly putting up 600+ damage each time with the spell. And head butt spammage throughout.

We cleared without skipping the cutscene and with about 9 minutes to spare, only one death which was me chainspelling at the end where it was clear we had the win and I went a little stupid :D Used 4 CCBs although we had brought 6- mostly because we used 2 on the first and by the time the third was up for usage it was dead, and same story on the final battle.

BLU is great for this- easiest battle I've had in CoP- keeps things nice and controlled which is the key to this fight- not a zerg tactic, just controlled, well paced damage.

I fully agree. Head Butt will probably be the best thing you can do for the fight. Also make you your party has plenty of meds don't cheap out on the fight by being underprepared.
