i started doing the l.ear brutal, r.ear suppa after someone pointed me to an old post and it made me laugh. I still haven't chosen a cop ring, with half mage jobs and half melee jobs i'm kinda afraid i'd regret w/e one i pick, so i'm just using other rings.

Am I the only one who purposely switches their earrings :/ My Brutal/Abyssal always switch ears :/. Rajas never leaves my inventory so it's always on the right for NIN/RNG/DRK.

edit: as for how this could possibly be "asthetically pleasing" ... I like to connect my HQs in a row like its some sort of mini-game. So Omniscient Ring connects with Duelists Gloves +1 making the row NQ HQ HQ NQ. Same goes for bard connecting Heavens to Sheikh Gages. This could be true in a vertical fashion as well, except that I don't really have good HQs to connect in that direction (need some Blood cuisses!)

you put earrings/rings on in the order in which they appear in the equip screen. Whichever piece autosorts to the top of the equip list goes in ear1/ring1. I don't have or use a suppa, so for me it's ear1>brutal, ear2>merman's.

Except that if you have two of the same earring/ring, and you macro them in as l.ear "Merman's Earing"; r.ear "Merman's Earring"; it'll take the one lower in your inventory first, and put it in your left ear. >.>

At least, it always does for me.
