Marriage, in the sense people refer to in America, is a christian concept; why would a gay couple want to get married when Christianity obviously doesn't allow that kind of lifestyle? Gay couples who want gay marriage are either ignorant or delirious. Wanting equal rights in the state, and being able to legally become joint under the state, whatever that process is, by a judge, makes much more sense.

This legal joint you speak of has a title. It is called marriage.

No, there is actually a term that refers to it. Marriage in a church is what is practiced in most states that allow gay marriage which makes no sense, the logical process would be marriage by a judge, not a priest/pastor/whatever denomination you are..

American marriage is far from Christian. Any country where this so called "Holy, Eternal Union" can be done while drunk with your friend in Vegas and annulled 55 hrs later is far from Christian. The rules in the old testament are old law, and they are meaningless besides just looking at them for guidance in some abstract manners. The law of today according to Christianity is the new testament.

If you use it as a matter of faith, then I can't touch you, you believe whatever the hell you want and it really is none of my buisness.But if you use it as a moral code or as anything in any kind of public relations (as opposed to private beliefs), then assuming you really do believe it's the word of God and you're going to use all of it, I'm going to have to say you fail, miserably.

I agree. But the idea of forcing a law to allow Christian marriage for gay couples is what angers me. Seperation of church and state is what half of these people argue for, but they somehow want gay marriages in churches which is just stupid.

Gay marriage should be the union of two same sex idividuals who want to be seen in the eyes of the state as a married couple and reap the benefits of that status. That's all...

i'm not going into gay bars to hang out right, but if i see two guy's OR girls holding hands it doesn't bother me. if i see them kissing it doesn't bother me. ANY normal shit you see people of a gay nature doing that any hetero couple would do doesn't bother me.

if i get hit on by another guy, i would politely tell them i'm not interested in men. ( and YES it would make me uncomfortable on the inside and anyone that says otherwise is lieing ) i'm not gonna throw my drink in their face, i'm not gonna scream NO WAI FAG!!!!!!1 at them, and i am most certainly not gonna kick their ass cause they are gay.

Hmm... If I am not mistaken, God created an eden for Adam, and later Eve. He deliberately put a "bad" thing in this eden and told Adam he could not touch. This "bad" thing was the tree of knowledge. Eve came along and wanted to better herself with this said knowledge, but because god did not tell her directly, she thought it was ok (and she's a girl, women are evil like that). Eve ate the apple and offered it to Adam who in turn ate it because he as a dumbass. So what is the moral of this story? God does not man or women to become knowledgeable. Apparently god cannot see into the future or into the minds of his creations. This proves god is not immaculate and omniscient.
