You're kidding right? I look at the world today and wonder how I will keep my kids from sex fiends by the time they're 10. Modern life is inundated with all sorts of things that will get kids thinking about sex way earlier then when I was a kid.

All it takes is one lazy parent that doesn't watch what their kids do on the Intertubes and it's instant sex party. And not just "I stole a peek at Dad's Playboys!" sex. Crazy party orgy sex. Three girls, a horse, and a gallon of ice cream sex. God knows what bizzare fetish no child should ever see at age 11 sex. And tons of it.

How many parents do you think really watch what their kids are doing online today instead of just shoving their thumb up their ass and expecting someone else to do their job for them and "keep the Internet safe for kids"? That doesn't even touch TV, movies, music & videos, printed media, advertising across the spectrum, and current fashion trends.

What's sad is the fact that the parents of these kids won't get publicly flogged for being worthless, lazy sacks of crap. If your kids have gotten to this point at age 11-13 you fail. Guarantee they'll say it was someone else's fault and sue god knows who for millions.

You're right. I don't remember much about things before high school, but it was a much different time back then, for me, than now it seems. Maybe I just made good friends or I was raised very well, but I don't think those types of things ever crossed my mind until maybe late middle school or early high school.

Your last paragraph basically describes how this country seems to work now, it's getting really bad and I really don't see that ever getting fixed.
