And who says the average player does Limbus? Well, at least regularly. Sure, there are plenty of 75s around, leveling is easy. But CoP? Finding a group to do CoP with? Finding a group to do Limbus with? I wouldn't say the average player does Limbus.

Not to say it doesn't drain a lot of gil.

Yay, now we know that it might have a hidden trait!
He was probably saying wow even I know that it does nothing
Just look up the Japanese for "Wut?" or "I don't know" and I'm sure it will become clear.

So even more proof SE hates BST, seriously, wtf?

And no one is going to switch over to the SE windower if theyre already using the current one.

LFP on another job is something they should of had 5 years ago when the game started. I feel SOOOO constricted when I want to level a sub, yet farm with my main at the same time and have to pick one or the other.

The whole windower thing, I'm sticking with the current one, there's to much good out of it.

    Far as money goes?

We got lazy. The RMT's threw money in the game, moving things along at warped speeds- the equivalent of fleehacking for timesinks.

Yea unless they do the offline thing... That would be used as much as the FFXI linkshell community. And its not too often I say "hmmm I think I might wanna xp 3 days from now, let me put up an "EXP Party App" up on the PoL site. Its usually spur of the moment "Hey I think ill go xp now" But yea If i could seek party as multiple jobs of multiple lvls at the same time (online) I will truly appreciate the system. I can merit with my ls pretty much anytime I want, but If I want to xp lower jobs, I can go farm or something on my 75 jobs, and still be available seeking on my 51MNK.

I disagree with us being lazy. What happened is alot of legitimate people got pushed out and gave up, due to the fact their competition no longer was another player, but 7-12 other chinese robots.

What does this have to do with your ability to make Gil? What did it have to do with your ability to make Gil before now?

Heck, what did it have to do with spending the money to do Limbus/Dynamis? We DID get lazy thanks to the huge amount of cheap Gil fed into the system by RMT's- it meant people could easily buy ridiculously overpriced airship passes (500K, easy nowadays?), chuck Gil at endgame fees without batting an eye (a million Gil? 50K/week? 50K, you spent more on food than that.), and in that RMT hyperinflation made a great deal of the game far more trivial.

Heck, we had an entire generation of players not bother to get rank 5 for the airship pass- because it was easier to buy the damned things farming beeswax. /cheer.

    So if God comes and tells us the meaning of life/the way he wants us to live, you're not gonna be happy that we know the truth because we "should" have heard the truth X years ago? Okay, horrible analogy. I'd rather say this: Ironic Taj says SE jumped the shark when I think Taj jumped the shark during the Final Four of Vana'diel Madness. >_> Don't hurt me, Taj ; ;

What Kyreth is saying makes sense to me. Yet its not only the botted gil inflation but the increase of crafting items. Would the economy have craploads of tree saplings or diggers to grow ores? Same thing w/ miners. How many real players would bother farming those things 24/7 and then price it so low since they don't value their time much. This speed up players ability to become 100+3 crafters and spitting out HQ gear.

Getting 100+3 was suppose to take forever, but now you see alot of people who have multiple 100+3s. Relics were suppose to take forever cause you normally wouldn't have 30+ dynamis groups per server.

I've lost over 100+mil in value on my gear, but the prices now are just about when they were before fish botting craze in '04. Lowering prices is still a result of people overvaluing flooded markets. I do feel bad for those w/ Thief knifes before the patch. Something that rare shouldn't be made so easily accessible.

Actually, try miningbots and as far as digging? Heck yes. Bots once again, on some servers 24/7. Go go RMT. You even saw a pile of fish (yay, bots!) going into the market for good measure- converted to sushi (and yes, I get the feeling they grew their own rice- irony.) and thence into Gil to sell.

The whole multiple 100's is more an ability at the time to fuel one skillup project with a successful prior one. Of course, that huge influx of Gil was- yes, you guessed it - courtesy of our local RMT crowds, overloading the system.

Meh. The knife itself was overvalued, in part because of it's overwhelming and -artificial- rarity. It was unique and rare. RMT cockblocked it with botclaimers, making it even MORE rare. See Autumnstones for a perfectly good example of how this works. Now, S-E deliberately screwed over the ability to do so in multiple cases, whether by R/Eing items or pop items. In this case, cue the devaluation as supply finally meets demand.

    My limbus group.

Same with Dynamis twice a week. Though I personally skip a lot of dynamises because things keep popping up IRL during scheduled times, but if it weren't for that, I'd do Dynamis twice a week because my dynamis shell says so.

The arguement at hand though would be what are you doing while not doing limbus/dynamis? If you're meriting or xping other jobs, maybe you should be farming? Players are just use to the high gil economy where ingame sinks were trivial.

Well, I personally don't have a problem paying for limbus and dynamis twice a week even without farming due to paychecks and such, but I was responding to the question of "Who says you have to do limbus twice a week?"

Ideally, you want to do every event that has a possibility of getting you something every time you are able to. That means limbus/dynamis twice a week, camping HNMs, hell.. we even did Salvage almost every day when it first came out. If someone can't afford to, then you are right, they should be farming more, but simply doing those events less often isn't the answer.

We are thinking about finally submitting our info for KI to the FFXI premier list. In the past we have chosen to stay independant of the other guys, but it might be better for us to change our way of thinking. I see that Warcry & Stratics are still on the list, but i'm hard pressed to find anyone who visits those sites. Things might be better question wise long as nearly all of our staff participates in endgame. I still have answerless questions that i would love to ask in person.

Does all the KI staff play FFXI still? I remember some of the mods quit FFXI yet still locked relevant threads due to their misinformation of new crap. Hell, all the good threads on asura went poof and now it's complete crappery.

SE might make you get rid of the KI Underground section, too.

Me, Wiggles, Moppy, Disco, Cael, Ifto still play. Dyire plays off and on. he took some time off for school. i have no idea about Motoh and stanislaw retired his modship when he quit the game.
A lot of threads have been removed due to exsessive spam. I haven't touched Asura in almost a year, so i'm not sure what is going on there. We are in the process of adding a new UI to the site with a strong possability of fourm mods to better regulate the servers.

KI underground is hidden, last i checked, unless you are a registered user and we try to keep to just .dats even though there are a few risque topics in there currently. They might also ask us to remove the ads, but hell, Alla is run by an offshoot company of IGE and once-in-awhile you can find a rmt ad on the other sites.
