DRG and SAM both get shafted on 2h as well.

Yeah you read right: SAMs 2h does ABSOLUTLY nothing prior ot lvl 3 when you learn Tachi:Enpi. It won't save you or make you kill the mob any faster. It will however make you gain 300%TP which you probably had anyway by now since you don't lose any kind of TP with Signet on while resting.

And whats even worse is DRGs 2h... You can't even Jump untill lvl 10 and even at that lvl you only get 1 use of your impressive 2h. You have to wait all the way to lvl 30 (I think) and 50 (pretty sure on that one) to even get 2 more uses of your 2h skill.


All other jobs have uses for there resp. 2hs pre lvl 3/10. Sure they might not be very impressive or anything but atleast they work...


I know this is a really lame post but so is bitching about Azure Lore doing nothing since it clearly does increase your performance for the next 30second IF you have MP and spells set.

Alla created "End Game Forums" for all the level 75 and HNMLS's that use them as their definitive source for info.

And BG created Newbie Forum for all the zam-type threads and posts.

However, the BG newbie forum has turned out to be a nice source of info and myth-dispellers for newbies and veterans alike. I'm not too sure what Alla's "endgame" gets out of their forum, though. I always figured Alla's endgame consisted of level 60s, endgame gear being full AF sets, and endgame activities being Journeyman level crafting.

There's a "wooosh" in there, but I'm tired so:

And I held onto all of mine and bought a Brutal Earring rather than selling the 75 coins for 400k each. I figured I'd sell them after getting what I wanted out of them. I have a habit of making missed-opportunity financial mistakes like that...

Some two hours are late bloomers, look at Chainspell. It is nigh useless until level 40 when you get access to Convert, and gets better as your MP pool and spell list gets better.

I barely even recall the last time I used chainspell without a DRK sub, but I think it was Apollyon NE a long time ago, when I used to 6-man it. We ended up having to kill the gigas vulnerable to magic to open the portal, and since I was the only mage, I had to solo it. But even then, I don't think I needed chainspell, it just made things go a little faster.

Chainspell is extremely useful in the hands of a smart red mage; there's plenty more that could be done than just chainspell-stun.

I use chainspell to claim force pop kings. It's an instant claim, and in case of one of those freaky ties, a few 600-damage Thunder 3's tend to have more hate behind them than a flash or a voke.

Except when you attempt to claim too soon and are forced to wait, as opposed to someone who started a slightly slower spell at the same time whose spell landed when the delay ended. Although we do have RDMs that Chainspell at last window pops.

As for other uses of Chainspell besides stun, all I can think of are

Utsu
Stoneskin
Enfeeble (including crowd control)
Escape
Raise
Nuke

When you have a computer like mine and your only chance of getting anything to land is to have it be instant, chainspell helps a lot. But like Kham said, there are tons of uses. Chain + Escape and Chain + Warp have both saved my ass plenty of times. Chainspell Stoneskin and Blink back and forth can be a lifesaver. Chainspell nuke your MP bar down then Aspir it back up. Chainspell sleeps on a huge mess of mobs in Dynamis. The usage is only limited by the person wielding the power.
