Im @ 1:06 and saw that pastor. Ted Arthur Haggard, former head of National Association of Evangelicals. He was speaking about something against homesexuality then I saw him look in the camera and his name. Something clicked, OH YA I REMEMBER THIS GUY. I couldve sworn I saw him somewhere on the news.

So i just watched the whole thing. The ending w/ the radio host basically summarizes everything that is wrong with the movie, the camp and the doctrine that is force fed to the kids. They indoctrinate their teaching to these kids at an age where you could teach them the earth is flat and they could very well believe it for the rest of their life. The host goes on to emphasis (The host is a christian btw) that the problem with this video is that the camp leader, Becky, is interfering with the process of learning by choice and it goes against the true meaning of the religion, which is acceptance of Christ through choice.

This video is a video of fundamentalist Christians vers. what I call, true Christians. This following statement is strictly from years of personal observation from Evangelical Christians. Not all of them are like this but from my experience I see them as judgemental, condemning and use the same tool our government uses against their citizens to keep them and their children in line: Fear. As much as others and myself hate that people use these tactics, they are effective.

One person mentioned that this camp is better then the kids joining gangs, having unprotected sex, being exposed to drugs, etc. I think what you see in this video could be argued by some as equally bad. Its the forceful brainwash of a religion into the mines of the innocent using fear as a primary tool at an early age that makes everything wrong about that camp. All to keep a Christan movement going that would otherwise die off if the didn't use such tactics.

Thats just my two cents. I can see this becoming a pretty big debate for those who watch the whole movie. I could also list a million things from this video that disturb me. I really do recommend checking the whole thing out if you are into politic, religion or both.

EDIT: Oh, and they dont mention the scandel at all. After I wrote this I looked up the camp. Its been closed because of the negative attention from what I can guess are the points I brought up.

nah, US, but i saw the entire episode on youtube. i felt sad while watching it because those kids obvious need help but external help would only distant them further from the rest of the society. i could only hope they could wake up one day and leave the family.

I saw this group first hand at a soldier's funeral here just 2 months ago. My brother's best friend was tragically killed in the war. These people were nothing but cowards and anytime anyone approached to talk to/fight with/whatever, they screamed and yell for help from the police.

I am not one of the people that condone violence to other people no matter my disagreement with their choices, but if you are going to sprew your message (hatred in my opinion in this case), you should be able to handle it yourself.

I do not believe people should even interact or talk to these people as it only gives validation to their cause in their mind. It is only best to just leave them be, like they said God has a plan for them. Sadly, I don't believe they will wake up and realize this before another Waco, Texas occurs.

The people that need thanks the most is the group of motorcycle men that ride to each funeral as well and provide a barrier between this church and the grieving family/friends. They were an amazing group and I hope they continue their mission.
