    Strike #3 for May.

    So four weeks have passed since we had the last Patch.
    Four weeks have passed since we got answers to the last Interview from the german community/endgame community on BG/few others.
    Some of the stuff asked in the last Interview got finally considered and changed.
    (Ullikummi, Sea drop rates, Virtue Stones, New Gear, being able to fight Faffy n stuff, even though it is under time pressure and they don’t drop same loot, Signet, moving Items like Alky shit, Speed belt to Battlefields.)
    We know stuff like Windower and Server changing will get available.

    We got a pretty bad answer regarding 3 Kings where they do not understand that botting is the problem and the other comments I do not really agree with.

    It is not difficult to move NMs or HNMs to the battlefield, but it would destroy the uniqueness of each monster… (If every single player has a rare item, we can’t call really it “rare” can we?)
    As rare as Thief knife is now?

    And the best answer was
    We believe that because these powerful monsters dwell deep inside dungeons, players fear them more and the dropped items resulting from defeat of said monsters have added value because they are difficult to obtain.
    I would really like to see some stuff where we repond to some of their answers.

    Especially since we all hoped 3 Kings Item will get available in new methods.
    Nevertheless, for those HNMs whose items have become “too” popular which causes unwelcome confusion, we are planning to make various changes with the next version updates. For example, the introduction of some new methods to obtain these items.
    We assumed Nyzule Island. But of course they drop just the new Gear.


    Anyway I would like to keep the questions this time at a Minimum of like 10.
    Probably going to ask this time less about endgame, but asking about News about the next Expansion, other News, I don’t know yet didn’t bother to think about anything till today.

    whiping on floor 100 boss would suck rly bad - but who the hell wants to erease their 95 block data anyway before like 2008

    I doubt I would ever Erase my Runic disc for Nyzule when I get higher.

    I also don´t know why they have to use the same Tags then normal Assault does.

    First noone bought Assault gear anymore cause people saved points for Salvage. Then half of Salvage is broken, drop and cell wise.

    Now noone does Salvage and normal Assaults (rank up) anymore cause of Nyzule.

    Salvage should use something like EITHER Assauts points or gil or Imperial Standing points.

    Nyzule could have something like a get a key item to flag it once every day. But you could flag the quest the day befor, do it the day after and flag the quest again and go again.

    GOGOGO I wanna see graphics too.

    I'd ask about timeframe on the new expansion, world shift, and windower. Also if you can eek any specifics out of them about their windower, would be nice to know what we can expect out of it.

    when are they gonna admit that campin' whit 100+ ppl for 3hrs+ and spaming a macro every 30mns for a slight chance of getting ff's best items is the dumbest shit ever in the whole mmo world?
    Are they hoping for players to stop all the drama & bot shit by their own or not enough ppl left the game yet for them to fix it?

    Good suggestions. They could also speed up tag refresh time.

    I donno- but the stuff that they changed in the most recent update has been requested for a very long time- and they finally listened. So- I'm not saying that we shouldn't continue to provide input as to things we'd like to see as players- but I think we should give them a little room and see what they are going to do before we get our collective panties in a bunch.

    Ask them this question :

    We have many items these days, and a wide selection of macro gear to choose from, however we only have 6 macro lines to work with for 16 gear slots, can they increase the macro lines to 16 to accomodate? Jobs that are heavily macro and gear dependant suffer the most. Beastmaster and Thief are 2 jobs I know of that can change almost every single slot of theirs per ability. Example from Charm to Attack gear on BST, from TP to Racc to SA/TA gear on THF.





    ^ Considering they're going to release official windower soon, I'd really like macro lines increased otherwise really who's going to want to use it aside from allakatards? My big macros are a big reason why I won't be using official windower unless they can give me those too.

    Anyway, yea i supose we should persists with a few things, but at this point we're sorta running out of things to bitch about.

    Agreed ; ; BLU has minimal HNM capabilities with limiting BLU specific gear

    I think SE will fail hard with this windower...just like they did with the Nyzul version of kings not dropping the over camped/botted gear..

    I really don't see them making 16 line macros for windower because PS2 limitations lol...PS2 only has 6 lines....and off those 6 only like 3 work cause it lags so much....

    Im with Wafik there....you really screw over jobs that have to change gear to be effective with the retarded macro constraints...

    They should realize damn well that if they don't up macro size, people aren't gonna care as much about their window version..
    Hell I see no reason they can't up the macro size as it is...

    Here is the problem though, PC macros and PS2 macros in Laggy areas suck hardcore....
    Windower macros dont' fail in the lag....

    Perhaps SE needs to learn to make normal macros execute 100% of the time when pressed? Really pathetic and frustrating when they don't...


    In short what will SE due about macro size limitations and the fact that macros don't work 100% of the time for even 6 lines once you get some lag.....

    Those two issues were solved by windower macros, perhaps they should take to its developers <.<

    Well lets be honest here. What roles can a BLU fill that another job can't? We just have tanks, healers, DDs and support, and hardly any reason to have a variety of damage dealers.

    They all do the same thing but through different methods.

    If SE isn't prepared to get over the fact that ps2 is gimping their game/gameplay and provide this feature to pc users (and even xbox360) then they shouldn't have wasted the time of their developers and QA staff (monkeys being fed lots of bananas) to offer the official windowed mode feature. Even if it was a 1-2 week project for 1 programmer, it's still a colossal waste of time if it doesn't deliver.

    An official extended set of macros may be enough to get me to use the official windower, but not having draw distance would be annoying also. There are draw distance plugins which do not depend on windower, however. That would be more of a minor nuisance.

    I have never had a problem with in game macros due to lag, especially on the PS2. Maybe I blink for a bit longer or my gear doesn't visually swap in very laggy situations, but they always execute unless something intervenes like another macro or action.

    Are equipment swap failures common for most people that use the in-game macros?

    But I am agreed that we definitely need more lines in macros, 6 lines is nowhere near enough.

    They probably want to keep it at 6 lines to prevent "unattended macroing" (lol), but they could also maybe leave macros at 6 lines, but allow you to set say a dozen pre-programmed full equip swaps, which you could execute as one line in a macro.

    To be honest, whenever someone mentions "PS2 limitations" now I think about PUP. They obviously had enough memory etc. to add the mechanism for equipping automaton armor and attachments. Why couldn't they have left PUP out of the game and given us 20 more inventory and more macro flexibility instead?
