Final Fantasy TA 2

Some new scans up for the upcoming DS game. I really like the way it's looking so far. I actually enjoyed FFTA, it was a really fun game. Sure it had it's flaws but it wasn't terrible. So I am really looking foward to this, apparently the main character is said to make an appearance in FFT Remake for the PSP.

I really liked TA, just as much as Tactics. I would think about getting this game, but I really don't want to go buy a PSP.

Dont confuse it with FFT: The Lion Wars. Thats a port to PSP.

If you look closely at one of the scans, the Espers are in 3-D. Pretty sure the GBA isn't even capable of rendering that. That to me is a huge relief, I really hope they change that about FF Tactics Lion War PSP remake because, quite honestly it looks like the summons from FFT were printed out and glued on a pop sickle stick and waved around the screen.

I wouldn't mind the judge/law system so much if it wasn't so vague in the descriptions or at the very least give some sort of warning before the whistling at me and throwing a card at me for using healing magic on a 'no color magic' day, but since they probably won't fix it - I hope they just don't bother with it.

I never liked the whole book thing...was too fairy taleish, not really my thing, especially coming from the sex that was the original FFT

The first time I played this game I didn't like it and got about 3/4 the way through it and didn't finish it.

The second time I played this game (pretty recently actually) beat it and enjoyed it a lot more than I did the first time through. If I had to make some suggestions, they would be: remove judges (or make it so they aren't so fucking annoying), make weapons and armor that carry abilities more available and/or locatable. The second time I went through I couldn't fucking find the Steal: Weapon ability for the life of me. The story was pretty lacking too, but overall relatively enjoyable. I liked the way it ended, but I hated the way it started.
