Looks like its capturing shout from Whitegate on every server and letting you view it online without being on FFXI. Heck, i see one of our dynamis members shouting for a mannequin head.


Edit: I'm gonna observe it for a while, but it looks pretty awesome. Even with windower, sometimes I'm busy and don't want FFXI running, even in the background, but would be more then willing to drop what I'm doing for something if it was important enough.

Not sure if you're still playing "get rid of the LFG" games, but it looks like the root of this is the Japanese version of the game. Hence, the japanese version will be 100% accurate ... if you can read it. The english side is getting a basic Google Translation, so anything it doesn't recognize will remain in japanese in brackets, and the rest will look garbled, but readable with effort.

Again, assuming this isn't a "whoosh" on my part, though it probably is, the above quote is "AF Coffer Key. Castle Zvhal Keep. Can I have it? Help me out."

I know an old LS of mine used something to view LS Chat/List while they were off the game. At least that's what I think they said. Seemed true since they knew who was at certain events when they were not on the game themselves.

It wouldn't be difficult to write a tool that monitors and extracts text from the chat logs stored on the client. Stick a mule in whitegate and go.
