Just curious...Sidney Poitier was listed in opening the credits for Deathproof but I didn't see him. Was this just added as a joke?

yea i believe that was some kind of joke, especially since he was listed under "the girls"
I loved Grindhouse. I was a bit disappointed with the ending of Death Proof, (Or more like I loved the first half, and wasn't too pleased about the second half).
The best part was the Nazi women of SS. Tom Hanks as a creepy old Asian guy was hilarious.
Also, according to Wikipedia, they're making Machete a direct to DvD movie.

The movies rocked and the chicks were yummy.
ROFL I was watching Philidelphia while typing, no wonder I wrote Tom Hanks.Originally Posted by Yensho

As for the movies. I went in expecting to meh through Terror and love Death Proof. I really am not a zombieish movie fan at all. But I simply loved it. It was PURELY entertaining. Every shot, every scene, all of it was made of awesome. Death Proof was ingenious. Seriously, has suspense or surprise ever been built up better in any other movie.
SPOILERS TO DICUSS WITH PEOPLE WHO HAVE SEEN IT
By the end of the first film, I admit, I was tired of sitting on my ass but very happy with the movie. So the way Death Proof dragged right before both "death" scenes started to get to me. But the way the scenes were played out made the drag worth it, especially the last chase scene. Kurt was awesome and the ending kinda surprised me. I figured it was going to be another triumph of Kurt running over some annoying chicks. I didn't expect to see him get his ass kicked by a bunch of girls XD.
Jungle Julia was played by Sydney Tamiia Poitier, his daughter.Originally Posted by Norelco

As for Death Proof it was ok, but I felt like it was sorta...too much on the buildup t_t;, got kinda boring until the second chase scene imo.
Definitely worth the watch though![]()
Thanksgiving was brilliant too :3
