on a side note.
scott hartnell can die...taking out the '05-'06 Maurice Richard winner and leading goal scorer for the sharks.
at least sharks are winning.
Wooo! 4th overtime but the Canucks finally won.
Choke meaning bounced in the 1st round? By the looks of last night... don't think so.Originally Posted by Norelco

I hear you. Last year it was the same for them and the Sabres embarassed them. This is the Sen's 10th year in a row in the playoffs and they've never gotten further than the ECF. Just sayin'.Originally Posted by Vedder

I'm rooting for Cannucks and Flames (gogoCanadianTeams)
I'm predicting however Buffalo or Pittsburg vs. Anaheim or Nashville for the cup.
I hope everyone is watching the Rangers tonight :3
(I just wanted everyone to know, they're on fire)
BIG BUMP HERE
round 2 predictions:
West:
Red Wings Vs. Sharks - Sharks in 7
Ducks Vs. Canucks - Ducks in 6
East:
Sabres Vs. Rangers - Rangers in 7
Devils Vs. Senators - Devils in 6
Canucks in 6 over the Ducks. Only prediction I'll make.

Red Wings have the spark this year, they'll be fine against the Sharks (even though the crowd is split between the Pistons, Tigers and Wings fans this year)...
I hope Hasek tears his groin again.
The Sabres - Rangers series is going to be a fun one to watch, but I think the Sabres will pull it out in 5 or 6.
Red Wings in 6.
Sens in 6
Ducks in 7
Go Canucks go!
Fuck the wings! lmao That seniors center needs to retire!
haha dont take it so personally.Originally Posted by Dense
Sharks were 3-1 against the wings this past season. San Jose has better size and all around grit, while Detroit has more balance/scoring depth. Detroit impressed me how they managed to constantly knock Calgary off their game, beating them at their own concept of hard work and the physical game. biggest edge to the Wings is the "X-factor", Detroits locker room is filled with leaders, lidstrom, chelios, draper, it goes on. theres nobody on the San Jose side who has that kind of experience, besides maybe Guerin.
all the 2nd round match ups look promising, gotta love this time of year for hockey
Everything is accurate exceptOriginally Posted by Oxyminus

Ottawa has so much depth right now, and Buffalo is way too quick for NY

there are 3 certainties in life. death, taxes, and Ottawa buckling under playoff pressure. Emery will have to steal games against Broduer, which i dont think he can do. if NJ sleepwalks in this series like they got caught doing against Tampa than its a different story.Originally Posted by Kross
biggest question in the Rangers/Thrasher series was could the rangers keep up with atlanta's speed. seemed to do that pretty well. they have great speed, especially on their 3rd and 4th lines, but more importantly their defense has been so tight lately they're not allowing opponents to play a speed game. I think this series is going to be classic, great matchup all around, but I see the rangers taking it.
Damn, this game is entertaining. Sens were up 4-0 in the first, and now the Devils are back in it at 4-3 in the second.
And the Sens take it 5-4. Devils came close but didn't get tha 4th goal untill 30 seconds left.
