I finally got to watching 16 and the cosplay cafe was awesome. A huge advantage of having the same animation studio do those animes, lol.

Might go try and find 17 since last I checked a.f.k. still didn't have it.

I really don't know what happened to a.f.k but this other sub group releasing Lucky Star pretty quick and their ep 17 subs seems ok so I guess you should give them a try

Since they have 18 subbed before episode 19 aired in Japan, I think this subbing group will do a much better job than A.F.K.

I know I can't really complain too much since they are subbing for free, but taking a week to sub a great anime was very annoying... ~_~

Pretty sure it airs on sundays or mondays in japan... and this week was 18. Just check out this blog called random curiosity to know just about when the raw is on the web.

I don't really care how much they may act like assholes, DB does quality subbing very quickly and is consistant. The only other anime I've been watching that has had the same done is the group doing Claymore, Eclipse. Overhyped and overpopular? Maybe considering so many other anime don't get out there, but both are still at the top of my favorites for anime.

A.F.K are usually on time and consistant. They also do many projects at once. DB is highly overrated for what they do.

Actually, I don't remember a.f.k ever did 2 shows at the same time until now. They'd put one of the shows on hold (like Animal Yokocho when Kanon started to air), and then continue when the current series is finished.

Their translations are great though, I'm amazed at the stuff they translate in Zetsubou Sensei...
