    Ix'MNK solo pull?

    I was just wondering if anyone could tell me how you are supposed to solo pull Ix'MNK to an Ebon Panel room; I know there are at least 3-4 mobs on the way, and apart from soloing them I can't think of how it'd be done.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Uh, I've never tried it personally but you could theoretically pop him, book it for the teleporter, go up, watch everything depop and then safely pull him into the Ebon panel room. This would only work on the West side though, since the East side is closed off from the teleporter.

    Can't you just book it to the room and wait until everything despawns? I think that is what we did, but we have have killed the grahs er whatever otw.

    You can pull the bitch way out, kite him to ebon panel room and RR.
    You can also pull it, keep casting on Ix'MNK, or just keep running and the adds will eventually give up and depop.

    With gaiter/w.legs, you can just pop everything, than die in front of the room. Someone else pick it inside (or you rr, and claim it again). Qn aern always cast spell otw, so they should be far behind.

    You could also use an hermes quencher, but dont overrun Ix or it might unagro. Not sure if you could make it to the room with no speed enhancement. It's risky dying otw

    On the west side, you can do what Mofro said and just teleport up then come back down and claim the Ix.

    On the east side, just book it to the Ebon Panel room and kite around and hope shit deaggros. If it doesn't just die on the far side of the room, RR up, and claim Ix.

    You also gotta be careful that Ix doesn't deaggro before you get to the Ebon Panel room.

    You also might want to kill the grahs cuz they both have ways of stopping you. West side grahs are dark type and cast Sleepga. East side grahs are ice type and cast Bind.

    DoT seems to lessen the chances that things will deaggro, as does staying in targetable range. What I've done with Ix'aern specifically is type out "/ma Bio <bt>" before popping, so when it pops I can hit spacebar > Up > Enter quickly before I start hauling ass. You usually have a second or so before he attacks you. Then as I'm running I "/ta <bt>" and stop once or twice to make sure I never get so far ahead that I lose target.

    i've pulled it many times without 12% speed, you can do it but your guarenteed a death at the end.

    Cutting corners will only give you a little increase on the mobs to keep you alive, but not enough to use the elevator.

    With 12% speed i just had a person outside the ebon panel room, i dipped straight for the teleporter and they picked it off

    i was 5/5 on losing hate (with Gaiters) in that hall way just before ebon room, somethin about the pathing i guess. So if you have your friend wait there they can get a easy clean split. Just remember if your going as a group, disband from the party before you pull lol


    Oh and, keep RR up, occasionally dark ghrahs will stun / sleepga you and you will die, but when you get back up you can just stun and keep moving.

    I think the Ghrahs are the bigger issue here. I solo'd the Ghrahs in the hallway leading up to the ebon panel room, and from the "corners" leading to the room with the ???'s if you have time/can do it fast enough. In partners you can kill all the Ghrahs between the ix'mnk and the ebon panel room.

    I suggest killing at the very least the ones in the long hallway, because, when you pop ix'mnk and run back, he'll collect a bunch of Aerns in link but as soon as ix'mnk deagros they all depop (this happens about the long hallway with the 2 ghrahs you killed before ebon panel room. So if you have little to no agro from ghrahs, you just run back, claim Ix'mnk again and finish the run to the ebon panel room.

    From there, its smooth sailing and the kill will just take some time but its easy as long as you stay focused.

    I'd also recommend killing at least the 2 grahs in the long hallway if at all possible. I've done this 3 times so far; 2 of the times went pretty smoothly, but the other time I nearly lost my pop item: both dark based grahs did stun one after the other, and even with earth staff + capped stoneskin + blink I ended up dying in the long hallway. I couldn't reraise immediately because I was between the 2 grahs and they were still in aggro form. I waited a bit for one to move, got up, put RR up, cast stoneskin (the initial damage for Bio III is like 150 dmg...) then I re-tagged the MNK and got lucky with the only grah in aggro form at this point casting something weak.

    That experience leads me to recommend one small thing: before popping it, put RR up (obviously) but leave the pin on (i.e. make sure you don't put another hat on due to macros, etc). This way no matter how well or how bad the pull goes, you can put another RR up as soon as you get up, instead of having to sit there waiting for 30 seconds for the pin to be ready.

    And while they're not necessary, yag drinks are a big help in cutting down the time of this fight if you're on BLM. Waiting on 1mp/tick refresh means that after a while, you won't have enough mp to keep both Poison II and Bio II on all the time, dragging out the fight much longer.

    If you're in good shape, you might wanna re-stun him to make sure you don't lose aggro about the time you enter the long hallway, though that might not be safe without movement speed.

    Good luck, 3 single organ pops, 2 deeds 0 vices :/

    If you're on the west side you can zone up the teleporter and then come back down, the only thing between the teleporter room and the ebon pannel room is a zdei and a grah. Just kill the grah before hand and stun the ix once hes close to the long hallway with 2 grahs. He doesn't aggro btw.
