When caching started depends on what you define as caching I suppose.

Isn't that what using google basically is? Find an existing program/code through Google, and change a few things so it does what you want.

You will find example and explanation, but you can't simply copy paste code and expect it to works in your program. You actually need to understand what the code is doing to make it works, and once you understand it, you passed the "script kiddie" level. Understanding code isn't that hard, but you need to see it at least once to be able to reuse the function/class.

Only 00.01% of programmers are going to have the luxury to do something no one else did before and the rest are simply going to regurgitate his code over and over either through memory or a reference. We already know to make the best hash for example and you can find it done already in any of the 500 languages out there,

Not really, there is still a ton of researching in computer science that won't found on google easily. The programming part of computer science can be found on google, and I've no problem admitting it. However there is a whole part that concern making efficient program, and developping new programming method that is more complex than you think.


Everything that was researched can be found one way or the other on the net. Hell, I could probably make accurate medical diagnostic doing some research. >_>

I dropped out of high school Sophomore year. Got my GED, went right into college in January. Got my AA degree, A+ Certification, and I'm close to getting my 4 year done. ^^

I always striving to get average, or above average during elementary, jr.high, and sr.high, but not in College. It's so easy to get A in college.

Now I feel better in university. I have to work harder to get "average".
