So theres a sound-only call, there should be a vibrate-only call too.
That way I could put it in every single macro. You know, to weed out those PS2 players and their notorious limitations
Not that I would do anything like that...
That option disables all sound in the game, what I was looking for, was just to disable the opening screen, but still leave me the option of having sound inside the game itself (though at volume 0 until I actually wanted it, without needing to go out into POL...). Is this possible?Originally Posted by Keno
The first thing that come to mind is to find the song file and delete it. You would probably have to use PolUtils to find the song first. And I'm not entirely sure if this would cause any errors or not.Originally Posted by akarikamigishi
Sweeet. I've never heard of PolUtils before but I went and got it. I had to move 3 bgw files to get it to stop altogether (title screen for ffxi, cop, roz), but now I'm sitting at a title screen with no music, but the rest of the sound is enabled.Originally Posted by theo
The main reason I do this is because I usually play with headphones (because often I have mp3s that noone else wants to listen to...), but sometimes I unplug them when noone's around, forget I have them unplugged, log off ffxi, and have the opening music blasting at me. Not a really convincing reason, but I'm happy enough with this...
