I want one of those ShirtNinja profiles... but it won't let me make one (yes, I registered for the forums, which don't exist anymore btw)

Huh? Forums still exist, we changed the forum software and remade accounts instead of migrating a bunch of old stuff. The old forums kept getting hacked by script kiddies so we took them down.

And I think the profiles aren't opened to the public to create because the server would likely go boom. That's why I don't link my profile here. (that and I'm lazy about updating it) It's very slick though, and the guy who made it put in a lot of effort.

Not sure if it would be applicable but I know that when I put on Bandomusha Kote, if I slap on more HP stuff in other slots I get more HP out of the 3%.

So we'll operate under the assumption that the % calculation for increased MP is based off of food, base MP, and all other pieces of gear until proven differently.

well as whm/blm i can spit out 1485mp i dont have /smn lvled

with /smn im sure i can spit out 1600 with a few other +1 gear

btw im a mithra but highest smn mp ive seen is a smn in my ls as smn/whm wit over 1560mp so

Askar pants give +15% MP :D although smn can't use it =x (i'm gonna get it for kicks for my pld since it would give me like over 100mp <.<)

Also as stated before, it's very likely that MP from HP->MP conversions don't count for the +% total, I could easily test it, gonna go ingame now

+Zenith Mitts: 1017 (not an exact +50..)
w/o cape: 1007
1007*.01=10.07

so.. 1017 works

so in conclusion, all +mp gear, whether conversion or not, works when calculating +%'s

edit: also fyi: base naked taru smn/blm mp at 75 is 1017 (I have 1097 w/ 8 merits)

Yes, it will give over 100mp..............if your base MP on PLD is 650+.

To be fair, I probably wouldn't get over 100+mp in ideal tanking setup (but it would be close) considering I'm getting 26/25mp from homam/crimson. But to offset that a bit I usually use hercules over bloodbead, +10mp. I wish I had homam hands

I said 100+ cause it's not rare that I stick on MP+ stuff for fun ;D

but then again, this whole thing is pointless to argue, since these pants are actually only +15mp, no % =/ damn somepage
