I kinda don't like kurenai as much as I should just on the basis that Murasaki resemble waay too much of a real little girl for me to go all moe loli on her.

Though it is a pretty decent series otherwise, it's just that my conscience tells me that it's borderline pedo, and despite the fact I haven't really bothered listening to him for a long time, he does makes a pretty good point.

As for Toshokan Sensou...the lore reminds me too much of Equilibrium, yet there isn't Cleric Preston around gunslinging the sense offenders :/

I'm glad Kallen is having a bigger role in group's discussion. Always annoyed how rarely she was talking to others in season 1, despite being in the main cast and having more backstory than most characters. Only person she was talking to was Zero basically.

And I love CC. Her disguise (or lack off) was awesome. I'm not sure if she is doing it on purpose or not, but it's funny either way. Was a nice episode in overall, probably the last happy one for a while if it follow the same pattern. The ending was great. Loved how bad Lelouch got owned

I personally can't stand Kururugi, the only reason Kururugi stands a chance is cause of his stupid overpowered Lancelot. It always kind of annoyed me how like every time Lelouch would always get a really good plan working and out of nowhere the Lancelot would appear and just fuck everything up, it became so predictable towards the end that it started becoming a "cliche" moment.

Off topic does anyone like the current OP by Orange Range? I personally can't stand it...

Apart from the initially confusing plot with the family and the lack of direction thus far I really like this show. The interactions are believable and entertaining, the voice actors are great and the writing is even better, art and animation are great as well. Hopefully a few more episodes something will happen, but honestly even if nothing happened I'd still eagerly watch this show. I love it.

Lelouch is the one who got Suzaku in trouble most of the time. Suzaku saved him in the 1st episode, but Lelouch got him busted shooting Clovis with his gun. A little while later, Lelouch screwed up Euphemia's plan, and Suzaku indirectly. The way I feel about it is that both side would have succeeded by now if they didn't keep bumping into each other. However, Lelouch is the jerk who is using people without any remorse, and have a fucked up ego. I can't cheer for him.

As much as you want to hate Lelouch, at least he have one hell of a drive to put him forward, between hatred of his father, revenge of his mother, and desire for a better world for his sister, it'd would at least explain his method if not justify it.

Suzaku on the other hand, is a fucking hypocrite that continuously chastise Zero's method, even though it was him that pretty much forces japan's immediate surrender by killing his own father. Then we saw how much of a faggot he is by selling out his own friend for a position in KOTR.

For the people-using bastard that Lelouch is, he tried his hardest not to use his Geass on Suzaku, or even attempted to kill him to clear the way for his plan until the very end.

I just can't like Suzaku after that, plus the whole impenetrable plot armors for character are only cool on a series that is attempted to be ridiculous. It's awesome when Simon solves all his problem with drills and willpower since the series isn't meant to be even close to realistic, but when I see Suzaku solves everything by dodging bullet, spinning kick shit, outrunning knightmare so save cats, etc, it just pisses me off because it's just doesn't seem to fit in the series that is focused on strategic warfare.

I pretty much think Zilong has it right. Fuck Suzaku. Even though Lulouch might be a manipulative bastard he still holds something dear and thus far hasn't betrayed those he considers close to him (Nunally, Suzaku before identity, classmates). Even though he and Suzaku want the same thing, the way Suzaku choose to do it is pretty lame and ultimately won't change anything. Besides that, non-violent conflict resolution just does NOT exist in anime with mechs lol

Considering his age at the time he killed him, and the guilt he went through, I would hardly call him hypocrite. Lelouch cares about his friends in a selfish way, but doesn't give a shit about anyone else. All his actions are done to manipulate people around him, and his only motive are personal vengeance. He doesn't care about the impact of his action.

You can say Suzaku is brute forcing his way through everything, but the ownage at the end of episode 5 was epic. The way he is fighting isnt much different than what they were doing with Gawain in season 1, or what Kallen is doing on the battlefield. Code Geass might have some strategic warfare element, but it's also a mecha anime, and you can't escape the overpowered mecha vs overpowerered mecha part.

Suzaku never said non violent. He just doesnt want to do it abusing people trust and tricking a whole country.

And Suzaku feeling guilty about killing is dad makes it ok, but Leloch killing Euphemia and feeling guilty about it doesn't make it ok?

And Leloch moves only to create a new world for his sister. If he acted only for vengance, he would have pushed his attack rather then going to save her.
