Pretty sure Suzaku isnt the kind of person who would hold a grudge against her for what Lelouch did. I would be surprised if his grudge is directed at anyone other than Lelouch. She is safe with him, because he wont let anyone hurt her, especially not the emperor.

Beside, it's not like she didnt get kidnapped twice within a few day with lelouch...so "safe" is a relative a term.

What are you talking about? She's way more safe with Lulouch than Suzaku and the Emperor. Hell, Nunally is one of the few things Lulouch genuinely cares about. Not like he's gonna flip out and slit her throat.
Lelouch's genuinely caring about his sister is closer to the obcession than real caring. Remember that scene where Nunally ask him if they could go out with Euphemia? If that's the kind of caring you are talking about, I will have to disagree. His action are going to hurt her more than anyone on a long term, even if he believes he is doing it for Nunally. That's why I'm saying she is safer with Suzaku who won't betray anyone.

Because Lelouch never did anything worthy of losing this friendship. Right? >_>

Friend kills friend's girlfriend by accident all the time, really nothing worth getting fussed over.

With the way they portray Suzaku in Code Geass, I doubt Suzaku would have hesitated to bring Lelouch in even if he hadn't been the one to kill Euphie.

Shit happens. Cant hold grudge for every little thing.

Maybe Charismatic, but I'm under the impression he would have acted like he did with Kallen. Try to convince them at school/home and ask again before fighting on the battlefield

Yeah, cuz he totally didn't put her in a situation that would devastate her emotionally in the long and short run or anything, right?

I assume you are talking about Suzaku due to the sarcastic nature of your post? How did he put her in a situation that would devastate her emotionally? Lelouch is the one who is lying since the beginning, and she will realize it sooner or later. He knows Lelouch got his memory back, and he is making him face his lie.

You know that he can easily bluff his way out of this one.

"Onii-sama? Who are you and why do you want to talk to me? Suzaku is this some sort of prank?"

    Guaranteed next episode.

Nothing wrong with being obsessive if it's a good thing you're obessing over. And Suzaku betrayed his family, his country and his best friend. Frankly, the only person he wouldn't betray is dead. I wouldn't trust him with my ham and cheese sandwich.

I still don't see it so much as him using her, I see it more as him taking an opportunity or rather making an opportunity out of a situation which the emperor has arranged. I guess we'll have to find out though, not that it makes much difference since Suzaku is going along with it.

You seriously think he is being nice to Nunnally? That he is doing what Nunnally would have wanted him to do? Destroying the world, hurting her friends? His obcession is not good, not for himself, not for her and not for the world.

"I feel we've grown apart lately, brother, and i guess my illness just reflected on that"
"I feel like I'll have that terrible dream again if i fall asleep alone"
"I wanted to talk to Euphie, we should go to the festival together, the three of us. I really want to see her one more time"
You know she will get hurt eventually, and it's not Suzaku fault.

You can keep telling yourself that he betrayed his friend, country or family, but that was not his intention. He isnt perfect, but he is definitively more sincere and have better intention than Lelouch.

Ok. Define "using someone"? The only reason he havent told her (assuming she doesnt know) is to avoid hurting her. Character like Nunally would do the right thing even if she knew the reason of the call.

What I want to know is if Kururugi plans to kill Lelouch now that he knows he is Zero and has regained his memories. I feel he has too much advantages, the Geass is pretty much shit now that Lulu cannot use it anymore against him.

For one thing he can literally kick the shit out of him if he pulls out a gun using his insane "physical powers" and if that doesn't work he can just crush him with his Lancelot or use Nanally as a hostage. Since the death of Euphie I'm assuming there's nothing more Kururugi cares about which is too much of a advantage if you ask me, especially in this type of series.

Actually it's just to put pressure on Leloch to try and get a reaction from him. But if assuming what you said is true, then that makes him gulity of what you accused Leloch of two seconds ago.

You can keep telling yourself that he betrayed his friend, country or family, but that was not his intention. He isnt perfect, but he is definitively more sincere and have better intention than Lelouch.
You can quote all the lines you like, it's plain as day that Lulouch cares for Nunally, no matter what he does or what is said he cares. It isn't as simple as thinking that a few certain words sway the way a person might think or feel. He doesn't even have to be nice to her to care for her (which is what I originally said), but regardless of what Nunally wanted him to do he's doing it for her. So what if she can't see the reasons for doing it, whatever Lulouch is doing is for the good of the world. Difference being the method.

I keep telling myself that Suzaku betrayed his country because he did. If he didn't kill his Father Japan wouldn't have fallen so easily, and in killing his Father he betrayed his family and whatever friends he had (including Lulouch and Nunally who were affected by this change) then, not including the friends he betrayed in the current time. You can say it wasn't his intention, but who cares? He still did it and continues to do it, that will never change.

You may think Suzaku has better intentions and what not, but him and Lulouch are two sides of the same coin, never facing the same direction. You could call both of them obsessive (Suzaku in wanting to find Zero, Lulouch in wanting revenge) but thinking about it, Lulouch has never directly harmed or betrayed a citizen or someone who fights for him (iirc, haven't seen S1 in like 6 months). He might lie and he might manipulate but Lulouch's thought processes are much easier to understand and he's much more straightforward because of that.

Re: Anime Thread. [Prob not 56k safe]

Lelouch dirties his hand quite a bit...but from my interpretation, he probably does so because in the beginning he realized just how corrupt brittania is. He just choose to walk the path of evil, if it was necessary to defeat the greater evil.

Suzaku, in the other hand, chose an idealistic path, believing he as 1 man can change brittania from the inside. Whether that stems from his idiocy in believing such thing to actually happen, or as his attonement for killing his father and causing the fall of Japan in the first place, I can't quite say, but whatever it is, it's just a childish behavior from someone who doesn't have realistic view of the world.

It's almost like L vs Kira dilemma, but Suzaku isn't nearly as interesting of a character as L was.

Thats funny I saw the relationship between Kururugi and Lulu just like L vs Yagami as well. xD Except Kururugi felt like an L with physical powers instead of a brain.
