The most interesting part of the episode I thought was:

When CC said that VV was the emperor's "first ally". It makes it sound like he has more than one Geass.

I assume it's translated accuratly, because both the Eclipse and gg subs have it worded the same way...

EDIT: Also, during the Guren upgrade scene, I was having flashbacks to original Mobile Suit Gundam, and the G-Armor part swapping. Good times.

Yeah, like he was never nobility but just used his geass to be come Emperor was the way I thought of it.

Ep 6 was awesome. Nunally climbed a few ranks in my favorite character list with her speech to Zero. I wonder if she has an idea who he is, or the idea never crossed her mind.

Next episode title "the discarded mask" sound interesting. Wonder if Lelouch is planning to give up on Zero, or if he plans to reveal his identity. Will be interesting to see the character development after this episode.

I think she figured it out at the end of the episode where she has a shocked expression when he shouts out her name (seemed like an "ohshi- thats Lelouch!" reaction imo). I can't wait until next week's episode; it'll be interesting for sure.

Yeah, she definitively recognized his voice near the end, but it doesnt mean she will associate him with Zero yet.

I honestly was surprised nunnaly didn't recognize Zero as lelouch when he entered the room...I thought she can recognize his footstep as his presence in the earlier episode of season 1...

I mean she need to have something going for her to make up for the whole blind and cripple part.

well, considering she doesnt have everybody in the worlds footsteps memorized, the fact that there is no concievable reason for lelouch to be up there at the time, she was told it was Zero, and she believed she was about to be killed, <insert sentance ender cause i cant think of a way to end it.>

Well, there is a difference between recognizing footstep at home when you expect someone, and in the middle of a airship attacked by people. But I agree, she should have at least recnogized his voice or something. However, I'm sure deep down inside, she know it's him like Euphemia and Suzaku did before, but refuse to believe it.

She really couldn't have known, i mean his mask has a voice changing device in it or something, other people would have figured out it was him easily otherwise. Or somehow that scene from season 1 was foreshadowing and well she did know it was lelouche and she was "shocked" when he screamed her name because it was confirmed? lol.. i think im looking to much into this

I'm watching it as well. I got it on my pc for a long time and decided to give it a shot. It's pretty good if you enjoy the slice of life anime (lucky star, ichigo mashimaro..etc)

I don't know about you, but nothing short of a plot hole can really explain that for me :/

Maybe I'm just expecting too much from blind people, but to my knowledge, they usually have sharpened enough sense to pick up on biorhythm such as differentiating people's footstep, I mean she knew right off the bat that it wasn't Lelouch or her maid when Mao entered the room to kidnap her.

Yeah, they've also spent a year apart and there was a battle going on the entire time with the ship she was in being attacked. Sounds should've been really crazy the entire time, and Zero didn't do a whole lot of walking either, he didn't even get too close to her. As well, she was told Zero was there, so she was already informed of who it was walking to her, meaning she may not have even considered what her gut was telling her about who was walking towards her.

I think you're either expecting too much of blind people or you're really not considering everything that was going on at the time.

Yeah...it's a bit much to expect Nunally to know it was Lelouch. Considering that they aren't in the same everyday environment anymore and Nunally has more people to expect than her close circle of friends approaching her.
