I liked Shigofumi quite a bit as well.
Definitely something I'd recommend to someone.

Am I like the only person that watches Evangelion or something?

I tried to watch it long ago, but the episodes I watched seemed pretty boring and I never finished it.
Many of the shows I have liked have been called similar to Evangelion so I might go back and give it another chance one day... but the fact that it bored me when I first tried to get into it gives me some reservations.

Admittedly I didn't finish evangelion either, I watched like the first half of it a long time ago, but couldn't stand it enough to keep going.

Thats because they were never finished. The series was canceled before they were able to make sense of what actually happened at the end. For the most part is speculation and imagination as to what is actually going on there. Creates a pretty jacked up mental image and then you're left to figure it out alone. Was really weird and i still myself am not sure how to interpret it.

but yeah the last two eps werent finished thats why it was all random... the first movie actually had the hate mail that the creator got for those two eps flash on the screen at one point... people werent happy.. and yet.. EVA is gainax's number one money maker lol....

the Rebuild of EVA is pretty cool so far... the first part is basically eps 1-6 and its about the same as the original... but the second one seems to stray far from the original (lookuing at the preview) cant wait for that... also they will have a different ending this time lol... or should i say an actual ending

And maybe Shinji and Kaworu can have mech on mech showdown this time around instead of just squeezing him to death.

I liked Evangelion, but the ending left me with a "WTF?" look on my face like everyone else...

But I have a good feeling about the rebuild movie...though maybe it's just the absolute lack of asuka on the first movie that makes it so awesome.

I'm still not done with it yet, but I enjoyed Minami-ke Okawari a lot more than the first season. I still can't tell why, but the dialogue and reaction seem less forced than it was before.
