I loved this ep.. It was very funny. I think it has more to do with you not knowing the rules of Mahjong.

Like I said, just the sight of Watanuki being hysteric iritate me. I love his character when he is a nice quiet guy (ie: episode 5), but I can't stand him when he is screaming. Sadly for me, most of the comedy scenes involve him overrating. I doubt not understanding Mahjong changed much since most of the jokes were in relation to the context, and not the actual hands of the players. There might have a few I missed, but I doubt it would have changed much

But either way, <3 Zashiki. I really wish she was in every episodes.

I loved Welcome to the NHK. Bad animation, but the story was really emotional.

And damn, cant find episode 13 of minami-ke anywhere. Is it even subbed? Episodes 12 was pretty good, but I hope 13 will manage to give some closure over a few thing they started (love story mostly). I know it's a slice of life anime, but still...unanswered question suck.

Zilong was right about the kinda gay quality of Macross F EP7, but I guess they can't all be like EP6, oh well, was still a very nice episode, and looks like next week they get back on track.

To be honest, I don't expect the art quality of Macross Frontier to get better until the last few episodes. Fight scenes are fine because the 3D models can typically be reused and they can just animate them differently.

The plot is interesting so that's what really matters anyway. Hopefully they'll fix the art in the DVD releases like in Nanoha.

Soul Eater 7 was awesome. I can't wait to see what Ep 8 looks like. : p

CCCP w/ Media Player Classic (comes with it). Uninstall everything else beforehand. Never look back.

PS: If you get lag in h264 HD (or hell, even SD) releases, pirate CoreAVC.

Question, When you use this to play .mkv files does it automatically pick up the subs integrated within the file or do you have to select them like you do via VLC? And second does it come out in a shitty default giant white style or does it have the nice sharp images that you get with an AVI/mp4 file?

If it's better than VLC I might consider it just for the nicer .mkv subs.

VLC's support for ass subtitles is about as good as a 486's support for Windows Vista.

Same exact file, the {} is in a comment that isn't supposed to be seen but VLC displays it anyway BECAUSE IT SUCKS.

It reads the 'default subtitle track' flag in the MKV and turns that one on or if there is none defaults to subtitle track 1.

This is just because they're hardsubbed into the video stream on any AVI or mp4 file you've watched. mp4 does support softsubbing I guess you've just never seen one.
