I totally wasn't prepared for them to kill off such a character so bluntly. o.O Shit I didn't even know his name up until this episode but I still felt it was kinda fucked up how he just died in like 2 minutes of fighting. Yeah.. =[ That sucked so much. Man.. I wish this series was longer than 12 episodes, but I guess you end it while it's great before it gets super stupid. Also.. I guess this is one of those animes with an opening that has nothing to do with the actual plot.

[spoiler:8yz1m5n7]I'm happy that they didn't go all emo /wrist with this episode, but everyone seemed a little bit -too upbeat- for me. Kind of pissed me off. No one was at all depressed and life went on as normal after someone broke into their building and beat the fuck out of everyone. Hmm. It's a shame that it's going to end soon, This could be (or could have been depending on where it goes) an awesome "action type anime" lots of unanswered questions.[/spoiler:8yz1m5n7]

Code Geass need to kill every characters who look less than 16. I already have hard time accepting the fact that a political story revolve around 17 years old students, those 10 years old girls annoy me to no end. It was still a great episode tho, especialy the second half. I know it's not the first time I'm whinning about this...but it piss me off everytime I'm watching an episode with them.

It would be extremly lame to trick the viewer to that extent. They also made it clear where everyone was, including Rolo.

It was mentioned before, but considering the final scene in episode 8, it's obviously Sayoko who replaced Lelouch's in the suit.

Before they leave, she turn around and smile to him as he is taking off his mask. I thought it was pretty random at first, but it's clear now where they wanted to go with that scene.[/spoiler:2ulven3b]


What part of Druaga Tower you guys like? The "fake rpg" setting is really killing the mood for me. I could accept it if it was a comedy, but it's way too serious most of the time. After 10 episodes, I still know next to nothing about the characters, and they are never involved in scene that make me cares about them.

I don't think you're supposed to know much about the characters who aren't Jil (and Neeba, kinda). In that setting, if you were to make a party with that those kinds of people you wouldn't know much at face value except their current goals and tidbits of information. If they had more time (like 26 episodes) I'm sure they would've went into it. The purpose of the team is to get to the top and even if you don't know much about the characters before they joined the party the reason you care is because of the time they spent with the party and what they did together.

I also don't know what you mean by fake RPG setting. It's not like they're pretending to be in an RPG it's just that sometimes the creators like to take the piss outta it (and because it's based on a real RPG). Anyway, it's a good mix of fantasy and comedy. [spoiler:2q0ktdce]lol'd when Coopa easily picked up Utu like he was nothing and when Neeba shot Pazuz in the chest then quickly in the head, unexpectedly violent.[/spoiler:2q0ktdce]

Also I kinda agree with you about CG. So many little girls.

edit: anyone know where the hell new kurenai and macross f are? did they get put on hold for a week? I think I remember something like that for macross f, but I can't remember.

Macross didn't air this week due to Eurocup.
