It did, I remember watching Inuyasha on Adult Swim as a kid and I always wondered if it had ever ended. Glad to see that Miroku finally got some action. : p

None of the really good anime ever crack the top10 ratings wise in Japan. The top7-8 is always locked up by the same shows, some that have been airing for decades. One Piece and Naruto hit the top 10 on good weeks.

I've gotten into Daughter of Twenty Faces after someone mentioned it in this thread, really liking it so far, just finished episode 6 and damnit...episode 7 hasn't finished downloading. It's downloading REALLY slow for me, I think it might be my connection...but it's very very annoying, I want to watch a lot more of this anime, sadly only 4 more to watch even when they do download

Also, Macross was nice this week. Although, now I kinda want the Sheryl ending lol. Music still fucking owns, I swear this has the best OST for any anime ever. Next week looks good.

I have always just assumed that anime in Japan is like House/Heroes/Grey's Anatomy/etc. any other primetime show in the US, they just do it in anime form instead of with real actors and sets.
