My biggest issue right now is that emotional episode are lacking this season

This is true. Last year I remember episodes like the Kallen's mother episode was very emotional, as well as the "C.C's name" episode, and this year the closest thing to that is when Tianxi remembers Xingke's promise and kept calling for him...

This scene makes every pedo/lolicon very happy when they watched it

I suppose we'll probably see something tragic with Shirley so that should be quite emotional

Just started watching xxxholic recently and despite my misconceptions (I thought it was about mahjong...) I'm liking it quite a lot. The concepts are nice and the episodes are really interesting and fun to watch when it isn't being a typical anime. Also, the character designs are kinda nice and interesting (usually can expect good design from clamp), even if the art is fucking horrible.

Also, that ED with those weird twins air guitaring is fucking awesome.

I would comment about the ED, but yeah...you probably know my opinion about it already. Great song, and catchy concept.

The art in second season is much better if you havent reached it yet. Not the greatest animation, but it doesn't feel wrong like it did in the first one (it was horrible like you said). The story progress much faster as well, almost every episodes were on par with the better one from season 1.

Pretty sure I've said it multiple time, but xxxholic is awesome. Between shonen and school comedy, it's nice to see something different, or I should say, something that feel different.

Nope, checking everyday on tokyo toshokan and nothing. I seriously doubt they are.

Doubt it will be great, but is anyone excited with the new Slayers series? Bring back so many memories...it was one of the first anime I watched.

I think Slayers is just one of those shows that doesn't age well, like... some old anime shows/movies are just classic.
No matter how much time passes, they are great.

But I rewatched Slayers recently and I didn't like it nearly as much as I remember.
It was all nostalgia.

That said, I'll probably still watch that movie

Good ol slayers, I got like 3 of its box sets and 2-3? the movies in my closet, need to download n watch this one after work.

Oh, I couldn't agree more. that's why I said "it probably wont be good". But I'm still excited and will watch it.

Slayers didnt age well imo because the characters from back then became overused clich

I just finished watching Zero no Tsukame and loved it and now I'm on a fantasy/comedy kick but doesn't seem like there's much out there that I haven't already seen. ;_;
