New Gundams, and how the Meisters look after four years. The syllabic readings for the new Gundam names are: Serafi (probably Seraph?), Ariosu, Kerudimu, Double 0. Yes that is "Lockon." No that isn't Neil Dylandy, the Lockon that died in ep. 23, its most likely his twin brother that was briefly shown.

Second Season is Federation vs. Anti-Federation.

The story follows the confrontation between the independent security enforcement organization within the Federation called "Arrows" which suppresses the Anti-Federation elements.


Gundam Meisters gather again to pilot Gundams. Their purpose is still to "extermination of war through military prowess". However, they act as people whose Gundams were entrusted to by Aeolia.

Setsuna takes a leadership role in the second season. He wanders the world while knowing that peace is achieved by the Feddies through the distortion of truth. This is his motivation.


Most people aren't aware of the severe oppression of Arrows due to the Federation's complete control of information. It fights to protect peace to a degree of recognition.


Setsuna is a man who can only fight. He is conscious of the hypocrisy of "extermination of war through military prowess". However, it is necessary to stop imminent war. Therefore he appears more militaristic than before. He tries not to get swayed towards the pacifist road that the heroine-like Marina takes.

Lockon is dead. He will not be revived.

They decreases the lines used to draw the 4 Gundams so that more effort could be placed into the action. And the two lines (the beard that is the symbol of Gundam) were added in.

The story of 00 has three overlapping layers, one is Aeolia's plan, another is the Meisters', and the last is how war affects the normal citizens who get involved. Saji is involved in CB's fight in an unexpected way. Louise's situation in the last episode of the first season will be made clear. The relationship between Saji and Louise exist in one axis.

Pages 20-21 has introductions of the Meisters.

Setsuna:
To sever the distortion caused by the false peace from the world.

Setsuna has greatly changed internally in the last 4 years. He resents the state of the current world and is conflicted about whether his actions were correct.

Lockon:
The bullet that shoots the spark, shakes history again

Heads to the battlefield with his partner Haro. Pilots the Keldim Gundam.

He is here after shouldering inevitable circumstance and joining CB. This time, to visually showcase the confrontation with the "Arrows", the Meisters' uniforms are seen.

Seriously injured in the decisive final battle in which he flew the Gundam Nadleeh but he was rescued by an organization and his life saved. Afterwards, he did his best to rebuild Celestial Being. Presently he looks for the meaning of his personal struggle.

What Quixotic said. He's seen in a graveyard scene earlier in the series, so his brother was probably found and given the codename: Lockon. I'm fine with it too. I just hope it isn't basically a reboot of Season 1 sort of like Code Geass is in some aspects. :/ Same meisters sort of (minus Hallelujah and Neil), almost the same Gundams (a couple look too blocky ) and such, so I dunno.

Yeah he could. The new voice actor for the character that resembles Tieria is listed at the end of 25 in the credits, so he could have meant that. I haven't seen any previews where said character speaks though. It's also been alluded to that both Tieria and the new look-a-like's background will be explored for how they could be connected.

Also, the american trailer is out for 00. If you guys haven't heard, Gundam 00 is gonna air on Sci-Fi. I can't remember the date, but I think around November maybe? I'm not 100% sure.

She doesn't speak, she laughs though, and it's very feminine. Just rewatched it, it's definitely a new VA though.

As for that newtype scan someone posted, those are the old gundams and the old meisters, see how it says A.D. 2308.

No. They are the new Gundams and new Meisters (even though only one of the Meisters is technically new.. another is half-new), but the "A.D. 2308" you see is referring to the little clip-screenshot below it. The one on the new Virtue look-alike is referring to the shot of Virtue firing the cannon. The one next to Tieria's little picture is him inside communicating with Veda, and so on.

I remember seeing a screencap of the JP closed caption for that scene, and it showed レジーン(Regene)：　ふ。　or something similar to a "Hmph" sound.

Also, you're mistaken, these scans are new, and the reason it says 2308 is that the pictures shown below/beside (other than the new portraits) are recapping what happened before in Season1 (notice how they show screencaps of events that already happened). Previous generation Gundams are covered in the sidestory mangas, and it would make no sense that Double 0 that was introduced at the end of season1 would be pictured along side older generation gundams.

Ah, I saw the double 00 but i figured the other 3 would of gotten some upgrades..they look the same to me.

Averting away from this Gundam 00 talk, has anyone seen School Rumble? I know its an "old" series but I definitely definitely recommend it to anyone who likes a good comedy anime! I'm already hooked and there's two seasons for me to enjoy! :D

I'm hearing rumors for a third also since they are releasing an OVA this July.

Sekirei was also pretty good. I didn't notice all the familiar voices 'till I looked em up on Wikipedia. I remember reading the first chapter of the manga and they made it pretty similar from the looks of it.

Don't get me wrong. I liked School Rumbles when I watched it, but both manga and anime failled compared to many other school comedy/romance imo. The anime had some good episodes, but there was a ton of subpar fillers in it that killed the pacing.

And the manga has its share of problems as well. There is like 300 chapters, and no progress at all. There is probably enough content for 2 more season, but nothing changed. You can't just open all those love triangle (triangle with 8 sides!) and ignore them for 4 years. Also, the manga wasnt really funny either. Maybe it's just the translation I had, but it rarely got a few laugh out of me, unlike the anime version.

I just read the RAWs for 1-18 of the manga today. I didn't find it too great, but it's pretty interesting.
