School Rumble is fine, but Ouran High Host Club is the best comedy/romance series, ever. Never laughed so hard in my life - the manga is about far enough ahead for another season to be animated too :D

The thing about School Rumble is that the relationships are pretty unpredictable, most comedy/romance you can tell within 1 episode who's gonna end up with who and it's boring. I can't tell with SR.
Also, I watched Ouran and while it was pretty funny, god it felt typical as hell. And I wonder how the main characters just knows everything about everyone. It's some sort of annoying clairevoyance that comes from the author being stupid.
Ouran was also really good. But it felt more serious than School Rumble, it wasn't so totally random. Both of them are definately favorites but School Rumble has to be one of the first few animes to make me seriously laugh for a good while. : p
Some of the relationship are pretty unpredictable indeed, but it's not always a good thing. They often paired people randomly (often with minor characters) for no real reason. However, none of those pairing lasted more than a few chapters, and you know who they will end up with in the end.
The only one that is really unpredictable is Harima and Tenma. It's either going to end with Karasuma/Tenma and Yakumo/Harima, or Tenma/Harima. Tenma/Harima ranks pretty low in poll as far as I can remember, and girls character always get what they want. That's why my money is on Yakumo/Harima, unless something big happened in the manga.
I always thought it was going to be Karasuma/Curry! xD I never did read the manga though. I was told to read it after finishing the second season but I think I'll just stay away from the manga for now since the friend who recommended it to me said they make the episodes almost exactly alike as seen in the manga. Yakumo/Harima seems kind of eh. I think she sees him as a friend more than a lover. Seems to me like Yakumo is one of those characters that aren't sexually interested at all in anyone.
Yakumo is awesome, <3 imouto played by Mamiko Noto
Bamboo Blade isn't at all what I had expected, but that's definitely not a bad thing.
I am liking this show a lot more than I figured I would, I'm not sure why but I thought the show was going to be completely different.
Not really that, it's just... somehow it didn't seem interesting.
I didn't think the show would have as many funny parts, etc.
I have to say Dan is awesome, definitely my favorite character in the show.
In general, the pairings would be Harima/Eri (did you guys forget about them? or did something happen to eliminate that?), Harima/Yakumo and Harima/Tenma, as well as the other minor relationships that are pretty straightforward.
I dunno what random pairings you're thinking off Kaylia, since it's pretty clear who the love interests are in SR, just that the relationships develop in interesting ways.
I'm pretty sure Yakumo likes Harima, and it becomes more obvious as the show progress. She is probably going to deny it till the very end, but that doesnt mean she doesnt love him..that's just how her character is.
Things happened in the manga. Not going to talk about it since seasons 3 is most likely going to cover those events, but I don't think it will happen. It's not impossible they end up together (Eri ranks higher than any other girl in the poll afaik), but writers generaly go with the most candid relationship. In general, the pairings would be Harima/Eri (did you guys forget about them? or did something happen to eliminate that?), Harima/Yakumo and Harima/Tenma, as well as the other minor relationships that are pretty straightforward.

And I was talking about Suo and that other guys..never knew his name. Might have been in the manga only, but thing like this came out of nowhere imo.
Out of curiosity, what kind of anime did you expect? I'm glad you enjoyed it, was a fun anime.Bamboo Blade isn't at all what I had expected, but that's definitely not a bad thing.

And I hated Dan early...he felt so out of place. I'm not sure why or when my opinion changed, but by the end, I liked him a lot more. It's probably when I realized he wasnt clueless about everything
The 3rd season is just gonna be some OVAs, how far did season 2 get with the manga? Each manga chapter of SR is only like 9-10 pages which is half of what a normal weekly manga chapter like Naruto/Bleach/etc has.
souleater 14 was awesome ;D
I'm not sure how to explain it... I mean, I knew it was a slice-of-life, but all the pictures I saw of it and various blog sites made it sound different.
I really can't say because I don't remember, but what I do remember is that when I first read about it something about the idea turned me off and I never really looked into it too much after that.
I kept reading pretty good things about the show, but I figured it was just hype or something.
Oh, and for me... the moment I really started to like Dan was when they had the training camp, he was all like 'I can't go to sleep this quickly' or something like that, and a second later he was snoring.
Sorry man, but you just can't hate Dan.
