I'm hating Alto going Ranka route on macross F :/

I really like Sheryl a lot more than Ranka, it was so sad when Alto told her "I'll be back with Ranka" just before he left on his valkyrie.

Also, I do believe that part where Alto break out of the fold and shot down all those vajra and saved luca/michael/sheryl and just smiled is probably his first true GAR moment in the series.

I dunno if he's really going the Ranka route. I mean come on... they are friends. D: He's saved her before, and what do you think he's going to do when he knows exactly where she is and that she's in danger? Leave her to spend time with Sheryl? Now come on. It doesn't mean he's "going the Ranka route". It just means he's saving a close friend. That and Alto saying "I'll be back with Ranka" shouldn't really mean anything. I mean... we all know Alto isn't really quick when it comes to understanding a female's emotions. Don't read too much into what he does. Now if there was an emotional moment and he were to kiss Ranka... then I'd take everything I said back, but I don't see it happening.

Has anyone else been following the new Ikkitousen series? All the sub groups I had been following for it (nightshade/yesy, ayako, and chihiro-fansubs) seem to have stopped after episodes 3 or 4.

Also, they really portray sheryl as a complete bitch the first few episode, but like few episodes in when she has more screentime outside being an idol, she's a lot more likable.

If I were him, I'd have assumed Shirley was geassed and commit suicide too. Bad asumption I know, but to him it's the logical explanation.

This detonator happens to make the most sense. I don't see a problem with it at all. It's only stupid when he seemingly has no time to prepare elaborate traps and such.

Awesome episode, hard to predict where the show is going but no matter where it is going: Fuck Suzaku and Rolo.

For Suzaku to assume Lelouch killed Shirley is a pretty high conclusion to jump to. Great episode, I wonder if Cornelia will join Zero against geass and the emperor?
