Totally called CC wish back in season 1, though I would have though she had always been immortal, didn't expect the power of geass to chain backwards. Though if she lost all her memories from after she bound her contract and she lost her code, couldn't Leloch just order her to remember?

I loved this episode. Wasn't perfect, but I don't really have any complaint about it. I will let the mirror explosion thing slip, and pretend Lelouch planned it months ago after the "chess match" in season 1. The idea was cool, but shit...they really need to show him prepare all those things, kinda like they were doing in death note with Light.


I hope CC will get her memory back soon, but I'm glad we finally got to see her motives and backstory. It was also nice to see Lelouch's reaction when she was about to die...Need more of this Lelouch who is ready to put his life in danger to save his friend.

Last 3 weeks were great. Killing shirley was well worth it to put the show back on the right track.

There is probably 2 mores serious episodes before the last comedy break. Doubt they will top the last 3 episodes tho.

code geass, fullmetal alchemist, one piece, macross frontier, so much more, cant think of anything else right now

one piece is really good but dont ever watch the dub version, they really butchered it with all the censoring. probably hard to find ep1 - up to date but if you can find it, it's really worth watching.

Have you seen both seasons of Shakugan no Shana? And if you liked that, Zero no Tsukaima is a fairly similar anime and has its 3rd season currently showing. Samanub has a few other good suggestions.

I'm watching Dennou Coil now and I think I'm now hooked. It was great from the start but I might start tearing through the rest of it now, heh.

Oh yeah, Daughter of Twenty Faces is good too, but there have only been 11 episodes so far and the only fansub group I've seen working on it haven't said much about it for a couple weeks (last post on their DTF thread was July 1st...) though I'm assuming there was no anime last week for it.

And Haruhi should be a requirement for all anime fans to watch!

Watch Black Cat (24 episodes), it was similar to Trigun in many aspect, and you will probably enjoy it. The ending (last 3 episodes) was kinda butchered, but the rest is good. It's probably the closest thing to Trigun I found.

Gurann Lagann (29ep ) and Death Note (48ep) were both amazing. Not giving them a try would be stupid considering how popular they are and how many time you will see reference to them on the net. Last Exile (26ep) and Dennou Coil (26ep) are great as well if you're looking for high quality production, with good characters and story.


Code Geass (2x26), Gundam Zero (2x26), Macross Frontier (1x26)are "ongoing" anime that you might want to check. They are all popular for a reason. Might want to check Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (14ep + 2nd season soon) and Full Metal Alchemist (52ep+movie) on your way too.

dont watch Shana movie, it's just a recap of season 1 with high quality animation. Watch both Shanatan episodes tho (dvd bonus), they were awesome. Season 2 is bleh, but it had some good part.
