Did anyone else notice the potential foreshadowing with the chessboard? The white king was down, and the black king was up, but covered in blood and the pieces around it were down, including the queen (CC?).

Also, the seemingly fake spoiler about anya being lulus real sister seems a lot more likely now.

Yeah, I was thinking the same when I saw that scene. Black king covered in blood standing up with many fallen pieces around it is definitively foreshadowing. Maybe you're right about the CC bit, but I thought they wanted to put the emphasis on the king being alone.

Yeah. Seems to me that Lulu may end up completely alone at the end maybe with the same power C.C. had and that she'd get her wish of dying. Then again.. she technically got her wish of dying already since she doesn't remember a thing of her "old" immortal life... man. This show gets to me for that reason. So much foreshadowing/alternate meanings behind things.

Agreed on the Anya thing. I've looked at Marianne and Lelouch, and I just don't really see how Nunally could be related to Lulu. Then again, I don't understand how Anya could be either, but who knows? It's all iffy to me. D: Glad when we find out the real truth behind it.

I considered this possibility many time already, but I don't think Code Geass will go with the "bad end". Despite all the dramatic scenes, the show still have a lighthearted tone, and going this way would be strange. The ending won't be "happy", but they won't kill most characters and leave Lelouch in such position...I hope. That would be totally depressing.

The emperor is definitively going down tho.

I didn't mean Lelouch would lose everyone important to him and the Black Knights to death. I just think...something will happen. I'm not sure why. I just think something will happen and some of the BlacK Knights may leave him if they figure out he's really a Prince of Brittania. It'd be like.. "He thought he could just use us as pawns! He didn't care if we died!" and all that. I think a lot of them would flip. A few already have doubts about him. I don't think Kaguya or Toudoh would be the ones to leave him as they've known him from before, but I do think the bulk of the Black Knights that were apart of his main group way back in the first season may. That's just my thoughts on that situation.

As far as CC... she "died", but isn't dead. It's hard to know about her really. I could have told you her wish was to die a long time ago. I just felt that was correct. Now she's lost her memories so she's technically dead in a sense, but is that what they meant? It was also mentioned that Lelouch ended up with someone? Could it be C.C. now or something? I just really don't know anymore. I thought maybe with all the crap they put Shirley through, it'd be her, but eh. I don't think Lelouch is into necrophilia.

I get the feeling that Schneizel would be part of something big like trying to take over the Empire of Britannia by killing his father and his older brother so he can be the next in line. He might use Lelouch for his benefit against Charles so he can pretty much pull it off. 3rd season go!

suzaku and lelouch team up to stop charles.
Charles gets imprisoned in the thing C.C. was in at the start of the series.
Schneizel becomes the Emporer, keeps nunnaly as Governor of area 11 and it becomes Japan.
C.C.s not immortal anymore somehow. and live happily ever after with lelouch.
Rolo, Kallan stay alive. Todou dies, the rest of his people live. Nina dies. oghi and villetta live.
Jeremiah dies. knight of 1 dies. the two knights always with suzaku live.

I think there was also foreshadowing with the conversation between charles and lulu and 15. He asked something like "What have you gained from your lies, your alias as zero?" And lulu says "An army, followers, territory". I think he's basically going to lose all of that, and only people that won't betray are the ones that know the real lulu: kallen, rolo, orange, sayoko, etc.

As far as Viletta and Ougi goes, I really don't know what's with that. There was no mention of Viletta at all. =[ Curse them for leaving her out of this episode. Something tells me that something may have happened to her, because it seems that Sayako and Diethard are acting normal around him again.

I can see how Kallen could live, but I'd think he'd lose Jeremiah (while defending Lelouch), Sayako in battle somehow, and probably Rolo due to his Geass or something. That's just what I think. I honestly think he ends up fairly alone by the end of the series. Kallen finding out Lelouch was Brittanian was hard at first, but she got past it because I think she thinks of him as a friend, but if stuff comes out that proves he was just using the Black Knights (which he has), then I dunno. I'd think she'd follow people she's known longer than Lulu.

Also, which new trailer? The Chibi-fied one I posted a while back or a real Gundam 00 trailer?

Pretty sure Lelouch will lose all the Black Knights except Kallen, CC, and Rolo. Then he will team up with Suzaku, Cornelia/Guilford, Orange, and half of the Knight of Rounds to take out the Emperor and/or Schiezel.

That's what he means, but usually when characters want to confess something, they end up dying
