Omg at that episode of Code Geass. This series just gets better and better, can't wait for next week. >.<

    Spoiler: show
Nothing being said in the "next time on Code Geass" thing leads me to believe some major things will happen next episode.

so, I just finished reading all available Soul Eater manga chapters, and I realized that
    Spoiler: show
theres only been like 4deaths on the show. jack the ripper and the group of mobsters from ep 1 &2, the rat which medusa killed(which looks exactly the same as the other five Mizunes), and the BJ guy(who could still be alive). people who get more than a couple pages of screentime(pagetime whatever) have yet to die. good guy and bad guy alike.
    maybe i'm missing someone though.

not sure if thats a bad thing though. just seemed odd to me.

Joe Buttataki the "mole hunter"? Guy who got called in to investigate a spy? He was semi-eh. He was on more than a couple pages too, a past love interest to Marie, and yeah. Pretty sure he's dead. It's a shounen though. If you kill someone too soon, you can't milk anything out of them. D:

This episode of Code Geass reminded me of Gundam Seed...and it's not a good thing. Every important characters get 10 seconds worth of screen time, but none of them do anything. I seriously hate pointless mecha fight, they should leave them for anime like TTGL. Karen's new knightmare was badass tho.

    Spoiler: show

The last part with Suzaku and the bomb was great. I wasn't expecting the bomb to be activated that way, but it's a lot more interesting like this. It will be interesting to see everyone's reaction when they will realize many of them died in a pointless battle to save his sister.

And I doubt Nunally is dead. It would make great drama, but she didnt have any final word, and her purpose is still not clear (she accomplished nothing as a character). I wouldnt be surprising at this point if she had a Geass and used it to escape this explosion.

    [edit]
Watched Tsukaima 4-5 tonight. Both episodes were kinda funny, but they need to stop the discussion about breast size that pop up every episodes. >_>

It wasn't pointless from a buildup perspective. The whole episode, fights included all led up to that one point at the end. The fights were meant to build the need to use Freya, the gradual pressure that was increasing on both sides. Even though nothing much happened, it was still worth watching and it certainly didn't feel pointless. The whole scene was made better by Guren hax.

I also doubt that Nunally is dead, but at least the possibility is there for a week or two (they might not show her in the next episode).

Also, Macross Frontier's music just gets better and better. Going to have the best OST this year by far. Though it needs more Sheryl, Ranka is getting annoying.

I didn't like 6 as much as 4-5 >.> I'm not much on yuri, so I'm guessing that's why. I've read a few other reviews that seems to like the ep though, so maybe you'll like it.

FLEIA is a reference to Freyja. In Nordic mythology, when individuals died in battle, the Valkyries carried half the souls to Odin's hall, Valhalla and the other half to the plains of Fólkvangr, specifically to the Freyja's hall, Sessrumnir. This definitely supports the theory they are not dead, merely transported.

Actually, the exact same thing happen in Season 1 already, giant explosion that transported Suzaku, Lelouch, Euphie, and Kallen. In fact, it happened at the end of episode 18 of R1 (coincidence?).

that didnt transport them anywhere. They washed ashore on an island.

It didn't wash them ashore, they woke up in the middle of the island. Either way, they were no where near an island before hand. Doesn't invalidate FLEIA being a reference to Freyja, or how it relates to Folkvangr and Sessrumnir parts of the bomb.

I thought V.V. teleported them to the island during that episode (I don't think they ever explained it, so it's not clear anyway)

Right now I've heard 3 different possible explanations (other than yours):

    Spoiler: show

    1. Charles, using V.V.'s powers, teleported them away.
    2. Nunnally actually has a Geass that saved them
    3. They actually did die and became an existance like Marianne?
