You get used to it, and their bots are pretty fast usually. I usually just open up IRC and leave the 3 main bots I use ([ur]dan, neverwhere, and mirrors) in separate windows, and I just hit up for xdcc send #

It's not the same at all, FMA anime is adapted from the manga, it's the original source. The anime is the alternate universeThe manga for Geass as far as I know is like the manga for FMA. It's sort of an Alternate Universe. I'm not 100% sure so don't quote me on that one.![]()
Woot, I found direct DLs on mangatraders. This should be fun.
I know that, and that's what I meant. The major differences between the two make one an Alternate Universe (anime). That's all I meant. I know the FMA anime follows the manga loosely up until a part in the manga where it takes a completely different turn and turns the FMA anime into AU. Code Geass is the main source between the two in it's series, and the manga is an AU based off of that. That's all I meant by how they are like. Both make one of their sources AU, while compared to your shounen genre where the anime follows the manga closely except with fillers.
That's interesting that you guys are talking about the Nunnally manga... my sister just bought some from Otakon >.>
i wish nunnally would have opened her eyes and been like "OH SHIT".
also anya is the real nunnally anyways
So, I finally decided to watch Higurashi and I'm wondering if someone's willing to explain all of 'season 1' to me to see if I'm right in what the hell just happened. PM or spoiler tag is fine, I suppose.
Also, is season 2 worth watching?

Recorded new trailer for Gundam 00 Season 2. Awesome. UVERworld's new song sounds great too.
I just got a new PC, and I lost my CCCP/CoreAVC settings. I remember reading a thread(animesuki maybe?) that had good settings to play .mkvs
In Code Geass, did they explain how Viletta and Ougi survived after falling off the cliff?
I don't' remember seeing an explanation now that I think about it, so I'm going to say no on my part. : p
Well, season 2 add in more knowledge on what's actually working on the background with the introduction of hanyuu and the whole rika's explanation.
Higurashi is basically based on a loop of events happening on a certain period of time, on s1 we have the keichi's first arc, then shmion arc, sayoko arc, and rena's arc. Season 2 focus more on rika, where the whole thing revolves upon, and introduces hanyuu.
I liked the first season better though, the mystery (or lack thereof) got kinda stale for season 2 and the ending wasn't strong enough.
I agree about first season being better. It was creepy, scary, and really mysterious. Season 2 had some decent plot twist, but they dragged it way too much. Certain episodes were really corny episodes (especially satoko's arc). I loved the backstory, but it was poorly executed imo.
Rika and Hanyu were awesome tho. Hated Rika in season 1, but she was probably my favorite character in the 2nd one

Anyone seen Scrapped Princess? and can recommend it?
Wiki didnt really give me too much help.
Watched it, wasn't too bad, but the ending arc is just...blah...
In fact, that's my whole view of the second half of the series rly. Though the first half of the series was great.
I don't remember rika doing anything beside...dying on season 1, which might be the reason for that dislike.Rika and Hanyu were awesome tho. Hated Rika in season 1, but she was probably my favorite character in the 2nd one
But yeah, I love s2 rika, but I just have soft spot for immortals/ageless being trapped in loli body...since most of my favorite characters seem to follow that archetype
