By find Nunnaly I think he meant when she showed up between seasons 1 and 2 after being gone for 7 years. I'm fairly sure they're both dead, but the only one I'm sad about is Sayoko

Well the literal meaning would be if lulu's geass can control everyone watching, even through the television (since his power is better now with both eyes?) but it could also be metaphorical. If lulu's able to turn the world into the ideal world with his geass alone

Edit: literal meaning really doesn't make sense unless schneizer has a way to block out the geass, so I'd have to say he's waiting to see how lulu's gonna rule the world and if he fucks up Schneizer will somehow use the info on geass to take over again.

I think its apt that Suzaku and Lulu reconcile at this point, though I think a bit more internal dialog on Suzaku's part would have made it make a bit more sense. Suzaku has slowly become like Zero more and more as the series has gone on, and it seemed at the end of the previous episode he embraced the "ends justify the means" philosophy, agreeing to assassinate the Emperor. The fact that he'd go along with Lulu and use the Geass to gain recognition completely goes against what his former self would believe in as well.

In my eyes, his character has completed his transformation to being the same as Zero. Ironically enough, it was the pursuit of Zero that caused him to abandon his ideals.

Was just thinking about this, if that was the plan with Charles/Marianne/VV/CC (the whole thought elevator/stop time or whatever/requires 2 Codes for 100%), why was Charles obliging to kill CC a few episodes back? Only thing I can think of was he was just ready to accept the non 100% outcome they mention, but I'm probably trying to make sense of something I shouldn't be >.>

First, wtf at VV using an automatic to kill Mariane and pick his cellphone after. That's so anticlimatic.

Second, this episode was awesome. I'm a sucker for evangelion/xeno'esque plot twist, and I didn't expect Code Geass to take this direction so openly. I knew there would be weird spiritual stuff since season 1 (was obvious considering the nature of their power), but I didn't think they would end up fighting over the collective consciousness of mankind.

Now the bad stuff...Am I the only one who feel like they are skipping way too much? Most scenes were amazing on their own, but when I look back at them, it feel like there is a ton missing. They are tossing away story arc without resolving anything. Nunally's death for example (still can't believe she is dead, even if the emperor said it), how Suzaku's joined Lelouch so easily (seriously...they spent the whole season building up tension between them, and absolutely nothing happened. Why bother then?).


I know there is 5 episodes left, but where is the school comedy that always defined the show? The lively character? The awesome drama that followed every important death? I can't pinpoint it exactly, but something is missing, and it's annoying me.


About Schniezel..I totally didnt expect him to last longer than the Emperor. I'm not sure what will happen next, but I'm worried it won't live up to this episode. How can the guy who doesn't know shit about Geass bring the show to a better climax than the emperor? I don't want the show to end with a normal war, when we saw God in episode 21.

IMO, the only real epic thing about the episode is the amount of Lulu x Suzaku doujins that will result from it...

But I digress, this somehow keep me interested in the series after they killed Sayoko. I wonder if Orange will still follow Lelouche after what he did, then again he's probably clueless since only C.C. and Suzaku is around to see what happened...maybe he's just back to his status as a semi-useless gag character again.

Anyone else disappointed in Marianne's appearance and eventual death again? The majority of characters in the series made her out to be some awesome woman but she turned out to be the stereotypical nihilistic evangelion type character.
