Anime Thread. [Prob not 56k safe]

Ewwwww. I'm still going to watch it probably, but I can't imagine a decent love story lasting 36 episodes. Also, I just read the wikipedia to get an idea of the story, and it didnt sound very interesting either...Air at least had a decent backstory (kinda cliché, but it was well done). Oh well...20min per week wasted isnt that bad in the worst case.

I sure can't tell if it's 36 eps. The story feels like it's going at a very fast pace in the first ep. There's a very mysterious feel to it. It reminds me a lot of Air rather than Kanon just going by the first ep so far, which is good because I thought Kanon was going a little too slow at times.

Edit: oh btw, I dunno if they intended it this way, but I think there's a reference to Gurren Lagann in this ep, lol

Edit 2: I just saw that there are 8 DVDs scheduled, with each DVD containing 3 eps, so... that means 24 episodes total.

There is a lot of boring crap (blushing, repeating the same thing about butler...etc), but most episode have a bunch of joke that surprise me or that I didn't see comming. I love the constant 4th wall breaking and meta thinking.

It's hard to trainwrectks a show that doesnt really have any story, or is parodying most shonen. 1 episode every 4-5 weeks is bad, and probably consist of filler, but it still worth watching the show so far if you liked earlier episode.

Never saw the censor dude more than once every few episodes, but he is still here. Some censor in the show are funny and overdone, but other time, it can get annoying.
Why every anime censor trademark stuff anyway? Their laws suck. At least, Hayate no Gotoku wont limit itself to stuff that air on their own channel, they quote or parody almost everything.

on the other, dragonaut sounds like dinosaurs in space


I'd have to say kaiji just because I have no idea what dragonaut is but it looks like eureka 7 and I hated that show.
