Meh, who cares. People have different tastes. While I'm with the opinion that they probably did as well as they did based on what already happened, it didn't change the fact that they made some terrible decisions in this second season.

Maybe they were expecting more plot twists, or more action?

At least I'd derive some sadistic pleasures for watching the whole cast die one by one, or all at once...after the bullshit they pull out the past few episodes, I think they owe it to the audience that each and every fucking person in the series died in the most gruesome manner possible.

Clovis' car comes up and intercepts the convoy a la season 1, Clovis comes out and stabs Lelouch instead of Zero. I also wish so many people didn't inexplicably survive. I also thought the praying scene with C.C. seemed like her giving her code to Lelouch, though how people wouldn't have noticed when Zero stabbed him gives some lolplotholes (not like there aren't enough already) inb4 really good actor

I thought it fit well for R2. Wasn't a great ending but it worked.

That's not how I saw that scene.

I thought that most people there (at least Kallen, Toudou and Kaguya knew) finally realized what was going on, but Kallen stopped them from blowing the cover because they realized the purpose.

PS. I'm glad you didn't write this episode lol, it would be obsurdly bad (but I admit it would be hilarious) if Clovis shows up.

Anyone remember what Nunnally's pink cranes symbolized? If its her crane, how is it in the wagon unless she knows Lelouch is alive, I guess CC coulda made it.

The first time C.C. showed up to lelouch after she gave her geass, she was folding origami with nunnaly, it's likely that she knows how to make it.

And her final comment indicate either lelouch is alive, he's connected to world of C like marianne was and can communicate in her mind, or she's just asking rhetoric.

Paper cranes symbolizes hope, based on the believe that folding 1000 of them would grant you a wish in japanese culture.

after the last 3 episodes, I expected the finale to be alot worse. so I didn't tjhis it was all that bad.

the fact that C.C. said her last line out loud makes me think lelouch was the driver. Don't know why they chose the "mysterious" ending. sometimes it works out, but in this case it would have been better off with a definite.
and yeah.. nothing has indicated that losing the code makes you die. They die after because, obviously, they can die.

That was a great way to end Code Geass, I honestly was not at all expecting them to clean it up so nicely after the last few episodes. It did feel slightly rushed, so the plot holes left unexplained were kind of annoying, but I greatly enjoyed that ending and I am glad it didn't ruin the whole series like I was starting to think it might after the past few episodes.

That spoiler .gif looks pretty good to me, and I wouldn't be surprised if that was the cut version.

Too tired to read through all these spoiler tags, but C.C.'s mark had been gone for a while, I had just assumed that Lelouch had been immortal since then and possibly why he had decided to do the "Zero Requiem" knowing that he would survive. I know it never said that, and it was silly to assume something as huge as that, but it would definitely explain how Lelouch survived a mortal stab to the chest.

Code Geass's ending wasnt bad I guess. It would have been better if the last 5 episodes were done differently, but on its own, it would have been nice.

The biggest issue I have with the show is that they didn't resolve anything. Both Lelouch and Suzaku accomplished nothing, except killing thousand of innocent people. The only good thing that came out this war is Charles being stopped, but it was done so fast we still have no idea what would have happened if he managed to complete his plan.


A story need a morale, a main theme...something that tie everything together. But in this case, I can't say what the hell Code Geass was about. War is bad..mmmmkay? It's pretty weak if that's it.

From what I got out of the last scene was that C.C. could converse with Lelouch the same way she used to be able to with Marianne, effectively allowing them to "be together." I may be off base though.
