And considering her violent tendencies on the manga pretty much ended after the first bokken incident, and spend most of the later part of the chapters showing her vulnerable side that made ryuuji wanted to protect him...I don't think she's nearly as violent as you made it out to be.

But who knows, maybe the novel had different theme. I loved the introduction scene though, nothing start a fairytale romance better than an uppercut.

I didn't really. I didn't think it was bad, I guess I wanted a choice to be made (even though by the end I don't know which girl I preferred). The only thing that I really didn't like was the absurdness in early episode 25 and I think the end of 24. All the effects and the communication between the opposite sides and those 3 + only the other key players are all able to listen and talk and stuff? It didn't really make any sense, it was Gurren-Lagaan-y. I enjoyed GL but MF seemed to go for more of a realistic feel so I don't think it really fit.

But I still enjoyed the anime.

Clannad After Story is starting now. I think I'm going to just download them all as they come and watch them all over a few days as opposed to one a week though.

And someone tell Live-evil to sub The Daughter of Twenty Faces faster, they're 3 maybe 4 weeks behind now, lol.

I've been waiting for a new episode of The Daughter of Twenty Faces for a while now as well, after catching up on the series a while ago. >.< I wonder if they are waiting for the series to end and just sub it all at once? I think it ends at episode 22 anyways, which makes the series being stopped at 19 in English very depressing.

I didn't know Clannad After Story was starting already, I guess I should start watching it.

Yeah SS-Eclipse has episode 1 subbed for CAS.

For DTF it's kinda funny. For pretty much the whole duration of the show it's been wait 3-4 weeks, then get 3 episodes in a week, rinse and repeat. I think maybe they translate it but their timer forgets about it and then does it over a weekend or something, it seems like that'd be the case, haha. The next few episodes should be coming out rather soon, it's been quite a while. Wiki says it's only 22 episodes but wiki also has had very little information about it, so it's possible it's only updated after shows get aired or something. Even the last few episodes of DTF have nothing but air dates on wiki, not even a title/synopsis (well maybe they have a title but it's in JP and I don't have the language installed on this Windows). But it's a good anime, kinda sucks to only get to watch it once a month though, kinda takes away from the enjoyment.

Well, at episode 22/23, Sheryl was still terminal from her illness and he was out to kill Ranka if necessary. So even if he chose Sheryl, she would have died and so he'd be with Ranka (if he didn't kill her). But then they all survived and Alto didn't show any actual signs of intending to kill Ranka (not that Sheryl would have let him). Nothing was really shown about the triangle until the final credits when Ranka said "I won't give up in love!" and that to me sorta made it seem like neither had been chosen yet. Otherwise...Ranka would've given up, no? Usually only the annoying/bitchy anime girls keep trying after a guy has chosen the girl he loves "officially".

And damn at only 22 episodes of DTF. But oh well, maybe there will be a season 2...but hell if I know if the ending will let another exist. I think it's possible based purely on the fact that Chiko is a beast and she can easily have people coming after her or just expand on the Detective Girls more and do some truly serious stuff on the side.
