Japan's TV Tama Takes Nymphet, Higurashi off Schedule

TV Tama, one of four Japanese stations that had planned to premiere the controversial Kodomo no Jikan (Nymphet) anime this week, removed the program from its schedule. TV Tama and another station, Tokai TV, had already preempted the Higurashi no Naku Kore ni Kai mystery anime indefinitely. The Higurashi producers unsuccessfully tried to convince TV Tama that its program renounces violence in the wake of Japan's recent juvenile axe assault cases, and the Kodomo staffers said that TV Tama also cited those cases before that anime's apparent removal. (The staffers only learned of TV Tama's apparent decision from the program's removal from the station's website.)

so lame... and they were gonna start festival chapter too... meh i hope they at least the release the DVDs in japan, that would prolly be the only way to watch the anime right?

I lol'd when Yuji said "Shana hasn't changed." I mean, I was hoping for SOME difference in an annoying character to make it less annoying. But everyone is basically the same. Animation was good (after Gurren Lagann it has become harder to say that) but if it doesn't hold after ~5 episodes then expect a quality drop.

Paprika is great as well, music is amazing. Same guy that did Paranoia Agent (I think).

Never watched paranoid agent, should I? I'm all up for another one hour movie if it's half decent.

Do you happen to have the parade song that was used in the movie? Only version I could find had a lot more lyrics and sounded a bit different (it's pretty good too, but I was looking for the one played in the anime).

About Gurren laggen, the best part concerning the animation was the style, something most anime are lacking. Almost every show look the same nowaday, and the only thing left to compare them is the number of frame per second or per scenes. Shana II had better animation, but it still look generic imo.
Shana doesnt annoy me, but the lack of character development is. I'm not asking for a personality change, but Yuji, Shana and other character need to evolve. Only one who changed since ep 5 is Alastor (he got nicer), and Margaret maybe.

I'm at school at the moment, so can't listen/download, but thank ;p Hopefully, it's gonna be the version I'm looking for. Idc much about the whole OST beside both song with lyrics, and I already have the main theme. Didnt notice any other song, so I doubt they were good enough to bother. Probably just ambiance/background music

Parade instrumental was the one I was looking for, thanks :D. The one with voice is awesome, but I wanted both. I didnt realize there was a difference between #2 and #13 track (I didnt have the #2), thanks for that one too.

The music make me want to rewatch the movie, it was really awesome.

Rental Magica has an Insane cast of VA, and the first ep was decent. It kinda seems like a generic Magical Animu, but I'm not sure just yet. Need more time to tell.

Mie TV, one of the three remaining stations that planned to air the Kodomo no Jikan (Nymphet) anime series this week, has announced in a website footnote that it would cancel its broadcast. The footnote says, "The broadcast of the Kodomo no Jikan anime which was scheduled for Thursday, October 11 at 27:05 [effectively 3:05 a.m. Friday morning] has been cancelled due to circumstances." Teletama had already cancelled its broadcast. The anime's official website announced that the BIGLOBE online video service will stream every episode for free starting October 19 (a week after its planned broadcast).

1 = bad 10 = very good

6/10 Blue drop - Meh ep 1, looks like it has some promise to be interesting at some point though. School girls, how can you go wrong with that!?
Looks like some soorta sci-fi thing in later episodes too.

7/10 Night Wizard - School girls, magic decent action I guess, looks to be interesting later.

8/10 Goshuushou-sama Ninomiya-kun - school girls again, some action... ecchi! Has comedy in it too. Did I mention ecchi, decent amount of that.

6/10 Mobile Suit Gundam 00 - Sci-fi, decent action, something for the gundam fans

3/10 Rental Magica - eehhhh hmmmm looks like it could get interesting later, pretty much a group of magic users that go around catching evil spirits. The main guy looks to maybe make it more interesting later in the series.

5/10 Myself; Yourself - hmmm school life show, looks like it'll have some ecchi in it but not nearly as much as Goshuushou-sama Ninomiya-kun!

2/10 Kamichama Karin - Card captor sakura or loli fan...? or both!? this is probably the show for you!

4/10 Mokke - it reminds me of something like Princess mononoke type show, decent action I guess. Might show to be interesting later but the start isn't ;/

5/10 Shakugan no Shana Second - School life, looks to have some ecchi later, has some comedy. Decent action in the series with magic battles n stuff.

7/10 Clanned - School life, ecchi and comedy good enough for me!

3/10 Kimi kiss pure rogue - Looks like some soorta school/college life romance thing, might have some ecchi in it later!

5/10 Dragonaut The Resonance - Decent action, sci-fi type setting... looks to have some decent action fights and possibly ecchi!
