question, has anyone translated FMP: Burning one man force beyond chapter 3?

The OVA is alternate reality. It doesn't fit in the After Story timeline. (For the anime)
For the novel, however... (I don't know how the anime will portray this, so it may be true as well)
Spoiler: show
The OVA is basically what happens if Tomoya ended up going out with Tomoyo instead of Nagisa, it had its own spinoff Visual Novel since Tomoyo is super popular and the OVA was basically for the fans of that. Of course Tomoyo After goes much farther than the OVA, pretty good story but with a bittersweet/sad ending.atm, after story is put after the first season, but before the ova? sorry for asking a stupid question but i just wanna have 100% answer lol
Other Clannad Question:
Is there another Kotomi Arc (after ~1st season~)?
And yes I also think most of the other girls (especially Tomoyo, Kyou and Kotomi) were a better fit than Nagisa.
The main character (so to speak) are never that interesting. Nagisa was bound to be worse because as a character, she's so boring. Kotomi, Kyou and Tomoyo are all more interesting and fun to watch (especially Kotomi, she's great).
Nope, Kotomi arc is done.
I doubt you'll see anything significant from her in this season since she doesn't appear in the other girls route or after story at all in the game.
Edit: Nagisa may become a bit more interesting (I don't mean personality wise) when the supernatural side of the after story is introduced.
Fuko returns sort of, you can see her in the OP :D big spoiler though if you see the little girl shes hugging.
I loved this week's Clannad. : D Was a really touching episode.
uh sorry guys, i meant the question to be about if clannad after story was like this
Clannad
Clannad After Story
Clannad the Movie
is this the way the storyline would progress?
i forgot there was a movie and got it mixed up with the OVA, my bad.
oh, and i'm also glad clannad gets subbed pretty quick :D
Two months late, but I completed Macross Frontier yesterday. I loved every bit of this series. Episode 19 was the only shitty one (low animation and horrible writting..wtf), but beside this, I don't understand why people complained about the show.
I'm kinda sad they didn't solve the love triangle by the end of the series, but maybe it's better this way. Both sheryl and ranka were awesome, and making Alto choose one would have killed the fun.
[edit]
and why is there is many freakin asteroïd in space. I'm probably the only one who got annoyed at this, but I thought it was stupid.
Were people complaining about Macross Frontier? I thought most people enjoyed the show.
But yeah, I wish the animation was better (I hope the DVD will fix them, it was hideous at times), and I do wish they solved the love triangle, but it's not something that I'd say it ruined the series or anything close.
I think the problem was they'd spend so little on shit "Moving the story along" episodes, so they can build up to the uber space battles and what not.
the Clannad movie was done by Toei, not KyoAni, it changed the Afterstory part pretty hard.
I'm pretty sure I can dig many harsh complaints in this thread (show isn't going anywhere, they destroyed ranka character, plot make no sense...etc). Lot of people were talking about dropping the series between ep 10-20 too.
Sincerely, after watching the whole thing, most complaints I've seen on the net make no sense to me. Maybe they would if I had to wait 1 week between every episodes, but I thought the whole plot and characters were very convincing.
My only gripe was the "pop star" thing. Kinda wish they would have toned down Sheryl and Ranka's popularity a bit. The singing itself was fine (and expected in macross)...I just didn't like seeing Ranka/sheryl poster everywhere.
Maybe for you, but it was an epic 10hours marathon (2x5hours) for me. I'm sure most people would enjoy this anime unless they absolutely can't stand the "sing-a-long" scenes...
Slow paced plot? Maybe, but at least, it was a solid one. Anyway, a fast pace always cause major trainwreck toward the end, because there is too many thing to close (ie: CG).
Either way, I didn't think it was slow at all...Beside the "pantsu" episode, everything was important for character development or plot. I could agree it was "slow" if the amount of battle determine the pace..but that's not why I'm watching anime.
