Agreed. 00 could be compared to Zeta, and Seed/Destiny was like MSG/Zeta all over again. God was Seed Destiny bad. D:

I just finished Fate Stay Night. Overall I wasn't a huge fan of it. It was good and I think the world/fighting storyline was very interesting, but there really didn't seem to be a lot to it. And I didn't really enjoy/get/like the romantic part of it. I think it would've been better without that. I think it might've been better if fighting was a tad more of a focus and it had been twice as big. More epic heroes and more fighting. But oh well.
Not sure where to go now, I have Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu and Utawarerumo downloaded, as well as Clannad but I'll probably wait for more of After Story to be out before I rewatch Clannad. I guess talking anime and grammar in trade chat will suffice for now...
Didn't Heero like jump out of a skyscraper with the intention of killing himself in like the third episode of Wing?
Also, it's been a long time since I've seen Wing, but did Heero really have any motivation apart from being trained to be a pilot and being told what to do?
I'm just saying it was careless to run off like that, which was the annoying part. Despite the connection with the Vajra, she should have known it was going to be dangerous and she knows what they are capable of. There could have been more pacing and care taken there.
You make it sound like her intentions were completely selfless. I got the impression she only ran off to find out about herself, her past and connection to the Vajra. Her doing it to save everyone seemed like an added bonus. Some communication with her brother (who defected, and at that point, could have listened and had some knowledge about it iirc), Alto or anyone she knew would have made it a lot better.
But regardless of anything else. Even if her intentions were completely pure, her actions and the resulting consequences were stupid and ended up doing the opposite of what you said she intended. Which for me says enough.
Maybe it was watching it week by week, one episode after another it's easier to keep track of the story instead of waiting a week while watching other anime.
I dunno about the first one, but Utawarerumo is pretty good to watch. The ending parts are weird, but the journey there is nice. Reminds me Suikoden at parts.
Woooow. Macross Frontier's 2nd OST has sold 102,000 copies. That's huuge.
diamond crevasse?
No. The second Original Soundtrack: Nyan Tora. http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-...n-70-2xev.html
102k is a lot of sales for an anime OST.
She did bring Brera with her. He is invincible. >_>I'm just saying it was careless to run off like that, which was the annoying part. Despite the connection with the Vajra, she should have known it was going to be dangerous and she knows what they are capable of. There could have been more pacing and care taken there.
Technically, she ran off to "bring back Ai-kun to his friends", but it's the same thing. She was doing this to establish a link with the Vajra.
And if it wasn't clear enough (ep23, before getting kidnaped)
Ranka: I want to cease the fighting. That's why I came here! Ai-kun, tell them, tell them I've something to say.
Also, she had no clue how to contact her brother at this point (government said he was mia at the funeral), and Alto refused to help her when she asked (he shot Ai). It's not like she didn't try.
You're not giving Grace any credit. It was her plan all along, and Ranka leaving changed absolutely nothing. She would have been able to mindcontrol Brera whenever she felt like, it just happened this way.But regardless of anything else. Even if her intentions were completely pure, her actions and the resulting consequences were stupid and ended up doing the opposite of what you said she intended. Which for me says enough.
Were you pissed off at Sheryl when she feinted at the concert? I mean, she should have been more careful. Her intention were good, but she almost started a war...It's not really different there.
Either way, it was the communication between Sheryl and Ranka that allowed Vajra to understand humans. It wouldn't have happened if thing played out differently.
Depend how much time you spend overanalysing everything , but I agree in general. Watching it in one sitting is always better.Maybe it was watching it week by week, one episode after another it's easier to keep track of the story instead of waiting a week while watching other anime.
If I'm not mistaken, it was originally based on a Hentai game and the story we saw was basically the Saber path with possibly a hint of plot yoinked from the other ones. I know a curious debate is Archer is actually the guy in the story from the future since the summoning of whatever heroes can basically transcend time if I recall the premise properly.
It always kind of bothered me that Ranka shouldn't know Sheryl has a virus since... she's been gone while all that was happening.
It's not a debate at all, he is. The game pretty much spelled it out for you (in addition to writing Archer's real name in katakana in the movie)
Need a recommendation.
Lately I been wanting to watch more cute, love chase anime. I watched Zero no Tsukaima and thought it was pretty good(season 2 and 3 were meh). Is there anything similar to it? Any suggestion or recommendations?
Oh and already seen chobits, not interested in it.
Mahou Sensei Negima
School Rumble if you enjoy comedy
Not sure what qualifies under cute, love chase. : p
As far as love titles go some of the popular ones are Love Hina, NANA was really entertaining to watch but its not a cute anime, its more music/drama oriented.
Eureka Seven had a sweet love story but again its not cute. : x
Shakugan no Shana 1 and 2, ToraDora!
Thanks, I will try all of them.
Zero no Tsukaima was pretty good. I liked the story on the first season and loved Saito. I think he suddenly hit puberty or something on the second season. Oh and on the third season, breast were the main subject and they were everywhere. I want my confused, innocent, underwear washing Saito back.

Not wanting to go to deep with this, but yes, that did annoy me. But Sheryl did a lot less to annoy me in general than Ranka. I still can't help but think there were different ways to go about it, her whole attitude really annoys me. Even with Grace planning out eveeerything (which is also stupid, things are more fun to watch when they don't go as planned unless you see the planning stages), there are ways to do stuff without the warning bells going off constantly.
Not entirely Ranka's fault, since the pacing in MF was pretty haphazard.
