I completed the Festival arc in Negima...loved it. The martial art tournament reminded me of the epicness of DBZ manga. I could nitpick a few things, but I don't really have any major complaints about the story and characters lately. Not sure if I got used to the fanservice or if there is less, but it's not as disruptive as it was at first.

Kinda wish they would spend more time with Ku fei, Evangeline, and the library trio (nodoka, yue, haruna)...I have trouble to care about the other characters, even if there is some good one (kaede, chiame). Anyway..it's a good read so far...80 chapters to go.



Toradora episode 7 annoyed me at first (are swimsuits episode vital to an anime production or what?), but I ended up liking it more than expected. Animation quality dropped a lot tho..or at least, it's the impression I had.

Definitely glad it picked up for you Kay; this is the tone you should expect to see from now on. There's definitely still zaniness and fanservice, but Negi's mostly just a badass. There are some wonderful moments ahead of you. One of the characters, at one point, re-enacts a scene from Battle Angel...

Oh, um. There's a manga I've been hesitant to suggest, because the translations are very sporadic, but it's VERY good (at least I think so). It's called 7 Seed, and JUST to tell you the actual PLOT would be a spoiler. Other than a group of strangers wake up on a boat in the middle of the ocean with no memory of how they got there... It's a very well done story, but I've been seeing a chapter every couple of months.
