I just had one question, is there any difference in the DVD version? I got the first 5 episodes in DVD and I'm wondering if a lot of the stuff is normally censored, if it's true I think I'll just wait for more DVD releases cause it was kind of annoying on series like HnG where it kind of made it annoying seeing everything censored. : p

Just FYI, alot of the stuff thats "censored" in HnG is on purpose, and is censored in the manga as well.

I dunno. That could possibly happen, and he could be the Meister that dies this season, like Neil (Lockon) was last year. I certainly hope not. Gundam needs a happy ending for once, and having Allelujah and Marie being that this season would be great. Chances it happens due to directing though? Slim to none. :/ I do want to see Soma/Marie in the Arios.

Probably soorta like a "comedy censor".. you know like... scenes where "nasty looking food was made" is usually shown censored.. its funnier if you can't tell whats going on but can guess how bad it is easy enough kind of thing.

Apparently getting his entire mind blew away still doesn't stop Touma from going off on inner soliloquy too goddamn much, and with the necessarius team up involving only the firefag and not Kanzaki, I pretty much lose all interest in the series, at least until biribiri's arc starts.

Also I think they're blatantly making references/digs/homages at other well known anime/jpop culture icons without having to pay the royalties.

Definitely glad it picked up for you Kay; this is the tone you should expect to see from now on. There's definitely still zaniness and fanservice, but Negi's mostly just a badass. There are some wonderful moments ahead of you. One of the characters, at one point, re-enacts a scene from Battle Angel...

Oh, um. There's a manga I've been hesitant to suggest, because the translations are very sporadic, but it's VERY good (at least I think so). It's called 7 Seed, and JUST to tell you the actual PLOT would be a spoiler. Other than a group of strangers wake up on a boat in the middle of the ocean with no memory of how they got there... It's a very well done story, but I've been seeing a chapter every couple of months.

Well, the manga is reminding me what I liked about the first season now. They spend more time building individual characters instead of just showing the whole group in boring comedy situation. They mix romance and fighting relatively well too

Negi is an awesome main character. I generally hate story involving kid as main character, but this one works out well somehow.

Havent read Battle angel in a while, not sure I remember that scene. >_>

Not sure why people mind them really, I've more fun trying to figure out the references than I would reading them. Beside, they are never censored completly to a point where you can't figure out what is censored.

yea seriously, I'm just watching it to fill up time at this point as more of a wierd love story between touma/index than a magic/science filled action anime.

I really hated the fact that it had to be that way too...the series had too much of a fucking potential to just end up like that, but I guess we can't expect all adaptation of light novels to end up half as awesome as the one who do.

I've said before that I wasn't very impressed with Gundam 00 so far. But, I'll say that this episode was great!
