They aren't conveying the "desperate measure" pretty well if it is the case. None of the characters or situations they are in are serious enough to make me feel this way. I just see a fight between 2 selfish (but not evil) sisters who want to be in control. How am I suposed to believe she is struggling when she locks herself 1 day inside a closet for a stupid reason?
But even if everything was serious, the kind of "faith" she is looking for annoy me greatly.
OVA, or the missing episode 7 (or 8)? I dont remember downloading an ova.i got to the ova in spice and wolf and the site i was watching them on fucked up and they got removed anyone know a link that i could download the torrent for all 13 episodes
Says who? Chihiro still subbing it.Yeah, too bad it got licensed so no more fansubs
Meh, someone else will pick it up.
Gundamuuuu 00
Spoiler: show
Just watched Soul Eater 34. That was amazing.
Who are people using for Soul Eater now that Tadashi got a C&D?
Mifune is just too awesome. Seeing how overpowered he is for a human is just great.
I don't even know who subbed the episode I watched, just watched it on a random video site that I use for anime.
Index 9 was actually pretty awesome, but I have no idea how the flame guy could stay alive after...
Spoiler: show
man this was a good week. kannagi/toradora/gundam 00/vampire knight guilty all really good episodes
edit: something actually happened in toaru? might have to watch it :s
Only thing I watched so far is toradora (downloading other right now) , and it was pretty good (minus the first 3 minutes). I loved the conversation near the end...couldn't tell if she was serious or not, and the double sense made the whole thing awesome. The scene at the train station and the picture one were hilarious.
So here's a question that's nagged me lately. Why is there pretty much nothing out domestically in HD? Surely most series get nothing out of it, but some transfers look like ass on regular DVD (see Ghost in the Shell). If anybody's seen the glory of 5cm per Second:
Spoiler: show
There is plenty of evidence that more can be seen in HD that currently isn't being seen at all.
I don't really like paying 20-25 bucks per regular dvd anymore, but are anime viewers predominantly a standard-def crowd? Is there not enough of a market for it yet?
I don't know. I sure do wish more anime comes out on blu-ray here in the US. I know I would buy Gurren Lagann for sure if it's out on blu-ray.
Release normal DVD now, wait 3 years until blue ray production cost drop, release it again.
Sales are probably better this way.
heh.. I own a ps3 and a hdtv, and i have yet to even rent a blue ray. though that'll change with dark knight.
anime on blueray would be ungodly expensive. hell, they still are for DVDs
The price difference is about 1000 yen/disc in japan. That's not really a lot if the transfer to HD looks genuinely better. I can think of at least 10 titles that would look amazing in HD.
