Only thing I watched so far is toradora (downloading other right now) , and it was pretty good (minus the first 3 minutes). I loved the conversation near the end...couldn't tell if she was serious or not, and the double sense made the whole thing awesome. The scene at the train station and the picture one were hilarious.

No clue how it will turn out, but I'm fine with almost any development. I love the 5 main characters in that show, and it's kinda sad to think one will get the "bad ending".

I would guess she will at some point, most likely near the end of the season/series. Would be kind of weird if they were trying to change her attitude and have it never change.

My point was not that had Nobuhiro Watsuki need to die for his shitty works, but that if he died after ruroken, he would be remembered by THAT, not the multiple failure of a series that he crapped out after that.

Believe me, I tried to like all his newer series, but it all comes down to either faggotry, cliche'd shit, or overexposure to fanservice.

Embalming, Gun Blaze West, Busou Renkin, and the recent Asklepios, all of them are pretty much utter shit. The bastard probably hit a fluke in ruroken and actually did something right.

They aren't conveying the "desperate measure" pretty well if it is the case. None of the characters or situations they are in are serious enough to make me feel this way. I just see a fight between 2 selfish (but not evil) sisters who want to be in control. How am I suposed to believe she is struggling when she locks herself 1 day inside a closet for a stupid reason?

But even if everything was serious, the kind of "faith" she is looking for annoy me greatly.

It's a fairly lighthearted series I think you should just watch the series as the comedy slice-of-life series that it is rather than trying to read too much into it, and it seem like the series is straying from that from the idolizing deal in the recent episodes.

That is exactly how I feel about the show. Just a comedy and the overall plot doesn't really matter (it provides a setting, and that's it).

I wouldn't say her attitude is all that bad. If you are talking about her being two sided, that itself is really just a "cover."

I had some time during Thanksgiving so I read all the lightnovels. Rather surprised how fast faced the anime has been after reading them: Ep9 is the first half of the 4th book with the 9th pretty much being the ending (there'll still be at least one more book but book 9 already tells you where everybody ends up). So I'm guessing there won't be a 2nd season for the series... wait is it a 12 ep series or 20+?

If you liked the first season, the second season is just a direct continuation, same stuff, same humor. If not, I doubt you would like the second, unless you want to finish the story.

I know, but ignoring certain pet peeves isn't always an easy thing to do. I still enjoy the show, and the quality is on par my favorite slice-of-life comedies, but the setting still make me wish it would be [slightly] different.

I do think it's overrated and get more praise than it should, but meh, to each their own I guess.

I liked the first season and was satisfied with the ending. I'm not sure if I should bother with the 2nd season at all..it feel like it would add nothing.

Took me a couple of episodes of the 1st series to get into it... between Shinichi's "you all suck" and Nodame's quirky soundeffects, but loved it in general. Milch... ehehehe such a funny old perv! and I noticed it does keep pretty faithful to the manga.

I'll keep tabs on the 2nd series.

You sure you want to know? The anticipation is all that makes these kind of shows entertaining.

The ending is just as the title reads. Kind of a yawn if you ask me.

Ryuji refuses both Minori (now focusing on getting into college to play baseball, the whole reason she works so much because her family supports her brother instead of her) and Ami (transferring out of country, to Canada I think?).

Taiga also stops chasing after Yusaku after his whole ordeal with the student association president. I could explain but does anyone really care about him? lol

At the end of book 9 Ryuji and Taiga "elope" together after upsetting everybody else in the book by being together - including Ryuji's mother. I'm guessing book 10 will be the final chapter solving all the conflicts.

The light novel has a bit more of a serious tone after book 6. A lot of argument/conflict between pretty much every pair of characters. I felt more like watching a Jdrama than the title's anime series, although I think the anime series will keep the comedy feel all the way from how it changed a few things from the first four books.

So you are spoiled, sucks to be you.

Remember though, sometimes authors like to take the multimedia opportunity to change a few things and give every character a "happy end." (read: ichigo 100%) So go ahead and keep guessing.
