Anime Thread. [Prob not 56k safe]

Yeah, this has been in the making for a while. As fanime goes, it'll probably suck (but hey, anything better than Touhou Project Side Story works for me) but I'm optomistic it'll be decent. If it's 20 mins of flashing kanji, crappy background shots with talking and girls standing in the wind with their hair blowing then it'll suck.

They got some good VAs.

I got scared off at first thinking it might be like Chobits, but it turned out to be a real treat.

what is the current episode? I have only wathced until episode 2 >.>

Episode 3 came out a few days ago...Episode 4 won't be out until like June.

Yeah I saw. Surprised about that, makes me think that if they got that many good VAs to sign on it'll maybe be worth watching.

they tried to fit so many supposedly awesome fight scene into very short period of time, and failed, horribly.

What? They only had two fights, a brief encounter with Justin and the Saw guy and the fight between Mosquito and Maka/Kid/Black Star. The first fight was short and simple, but the second fight was fucking awesome.

hated that episode but i was thinking the same... and i actually loled when that scene showed up

there was too much singing that made me feel stupid when i was watching this ep... but lucky star walk in was hilarious XD... and daitetsu's song was probably the only one that was good/funny since i was totally not expecting that tbh, thought he would like freeze up hahaha

this episode kinda let me feel that they just want to try to add the "neta" thing into anime just like others kind of anime out there. which i hate for most of the cases

It's hard for kannagi to seem filler-ish because basically the plot doesn't allow for that impression. I mean, before this episode could you tell where the anime was going? It's just more character and comedy stuff.

I'm not sure it's a good thing. It doesn't feel like they know where they want to go with this show.

It's not bad by any mean, but what's the point of showing all the weird stuff early (fighting a shadow, the part with Daitetsu or the one with the cat), when they follow up with something completely unrelated about anime culture. They should pick a genre and stick to it imo.
