new soul eater chapter is out, and yay theyre back to mifune v black star
new index episode is so awesome
cant believe the series is ending, it's just getting good
When will Gundam minor characters learn that any and all character development leads to certain death?
At least Saji grew some balls this episode.
Yes. Death Flag Rule #3 was broken; never show a picture of you and a loved one. It never ends well.
That was a great chapter.
Spoiler: show
00 Riser attachment makes 00 looks a lot like Weltall-II
note to self: when a mech is named after a series, there is no fucking way in hell it can be a motherfucking real robot series, it's so cute how they tried to make it somewhat realistic a warfare with the whole "strategy" deal...it's like rossiu all over again
Saji: SETSUNAAAA GATTAI DAAAAA
FMA 2 better be good, and that's all I have to say about that one.
Oh come the fuck on, Gundam Wing was dynasty warriors with Leos. Evangelion is monster of the week, typical of a super robot series. I'll give you macross, at least the earlier series, but 7 was so super robot, it fucking hurts to watch, and Frontier's is borderline that if Alto didn't lose 5+ valkyries over the entire series, but I haven't seen turn a gundam.
I'm arguing that if the mech's name in the title, odds are it can't be a real robot series, just for the record, you are agreeing with me, correct?
Wtf is a real robot series?
so who's saying its a "real robot" series?
you just popped in here and said "its not a real robot series omg its stupid" when noone said anything about it lol
the 1st sentence in that wiki definition even excludes 00.
The genre contains robots that are powered by conventional power sources and weapons that could be explained by real world science
I'm pretty sure every robot series go against science at one point or the other. What they meant is anything that is considered science fiction and doesn't involve magic.
I'm not saying it's stupid, I'm just saying the whole sumeragi/mannequinn backstory involving "strategy" and whatnot is kinda just a pointless distraction.
And yeah, I guess I'll concede to the point since some of those example are really fucking up my blanket statement.
I don't know, maybe I'm just pissed that the series seem to be turning into DBZ with robots, while still trying to bullshit their way with backstage politics and plotting as if those actually matters.
Kinda like...you know, CGR2
The "strategy" in 00 is code for "I read the script and perfectly know what every set-up is ever." Plans are nice, but either both sides see through everything instantly or one side's plan is so super duper perfect the other side can't do a thing about it, unless they're the main characters and suddenly get a new upgrade.
