Anyone watching KissxSis...?

Haven't picked up the anime, but the manga is cute, ecchi and funny; considering it's by the same author as Mahoromatic, definetly not for kiddies but it does have it's sentimental moments.

Great choices both of them...
GitS:SSS definetly needs some time to get into it, but if youre a fan of the whole GitS movie/tv series/universe, you'll get into it quickly (Togusa and Batou FTW!)

ROD oav: great miniseries, really wish they had animated the manga with Yomiko instead of the tv series with the paper sisters... kinda dissapointing since Yomiko is quite a badass (once you get some backstory and put the nerdy/ditzy persona away)

I read the manga until chapter 12 or 13. Definitely not for kids :D

It's one of those, "how sexual can we get without having to censor", sort of manga. I haven't ever read it but I looked it up and read all 18 chapters real quick, only page worth showing because I thought it was pretty funny:

If so, you realize it's a DVD-only release that came with a manga volume? And it's episode 0? There is no TV anime.

Only thing that annoyed me was the reference to Negima...I hate when a studio refer to their own show.

Actually, there are some story behind both author. It should have very little relationship with the studio. But I can't recall the details about this

Generally, one is an attempt at a joke, while the other is simply an attempt at selling your own product. It's not always a bad thing and can be done correctly, but due to the nature of this show, both reference to Negima were kinda out of place with the lack of censor. Dunno, maybe it was canon in the manga, it just look like they picked this one over other popular shonen because they producing it..

They adapt it well enough that the translation for GSZS 2 was done before it was released because the tl knew the manga chapters in advance.

Because manga sales and animes sale are completly unrelated ? Also, Shaft have more than Negima!?, they recently released Negima OVA as well.

Anyway, I was complaining because this one stand out more than other reference with the lack of censor and actual picture of Negima. Doesn't really change what I think of the show.

And Negima! was canon for the most part, and better if you don't pay attention to the terrible animation. >_> Negima!? was funny, but totally unrelated, and the story was terrible.
