I agree. This past mini-arc was absolutely fantastic. I thought Toradora had a slow start but it has improved throughout the series every episode.
I read that Toradora's director is none other than the same guy who did Honey and Clover. No wonder the emotional scenes are done so well.
The setting is painfully cliché, but it has some of the best writting I've seen. There is actually a bunch of clever dialogues (my favorite is still the one about ghost/ufo). And I agree about the fanservice. There isn't a lot, and it's not replacing character development.Originally Posted by Hirokei Kiaza

I still need to give Honey and Clover another try, but they should hire this guy to adapt every romance/comedy. He is definitively doing a better job than most directors.
Try saying something positive once in a while, it doesn't hurt.
That is the main reason I like Kannagi and Toradora, they are both very well written. Some characters/locations may seem cliche, but I love almost every episode of both shows so far.
same, they're entertaining, even if taiga does piss me off sometimes she does have her redeeming qualities. and the main lead isn't a total pussy. I love the relationship between them, especially concerning the dad.
I can't get annoyed by Taiga. Her attitude doesn't slow down characters development like it would normally in this kind of anime, and I actually think her reaction make sense in the context.
I need a new anime to watch, any suggestions?
I'm current on bleach, I enjoy naruto, loved calymore, samurai deeper kyo, berserk etc.
Need something new to watch, any suggestions would be grest, thanks.
Ninja Edit: Loved hellsing as well.
Soul Eater?
black lagoon is one you'd probably like
Thanks guys, gunna go check out souleater now.
Edit: Is there a good place to stream souleater, Ive tried megavideo and a few other places, but the subs are in red and so hard to read, quality is awful.
Yeah, because I meant it literally, and wasn't talking about your overall attitude over the last few pages.
And no, I don't disagree with your summary. In fact, I generally agree with your opinion to some extent, I just don't think post like this are going to bring this thread anywhere.
I'd like to think that what I'm doing is a public service.
The less people that have to suffer through gantz, the better place this world would be. As far as my mnemosyne comment, I kinda don't feel like explaining it since it ruins the joke...but I stand by it.
Beside, where do you want this thread to go anyway?
To a place with rainbow, flowers and butterflies everywhere obviously.Beside, where do you want this thread to go anyway?
But sincerely, I would rather see posts with some information rather than a flame bait. Hard to judge the quality of an opinion when the only thing you have is a one liner.
Gundam 00 continues to be awesome. Little bit of a let down right at the end, though, as I was sure this would be the ep. when dumb Innovator kid finally met the business end of a beam weapon, but I guess you can't have everything.
Haven't watched this ep of Gundam 00 yet, but I've been quite annoyed by the lack of deaths by the "important bad guys" yet. It's like they all have this amazing ability to escape in the last seconds.
They're all just a plot device to introduce the power of 0-Raiser, but oh no! we can't have any bad guys die yet!
Well, the more innovator that dies, the sooner setsuna will get into killing ali and/or graham aker.
While I'm more than happy in seeing those people die horribly at the business end of the beam saber, I don't think the bulk of the fanbase share my opinions.
