dont know if you gonna like it or not, but Mushishi is definitely worth trying. It doesnt really have a solid storyline, but onceI watch it, i just cant stop watching.

Kurenai is also one of the most well-written anime i've ever watched. If you can look past the semi-loli nature of the anime and into the story, it's definetly a good watch.

Claymore - awesome. last 6 episodes suck and aren't from the manga, but check it out afterwards anyway.
Cowboy Bebop - awesome
Black Lagoon - awesome (if you liked the above)
Death Note - awesome first half, lackluster second
Fate/Stay Night - if you like the visual novel, stay away otherwise it's alright
Gurren Laggan - awesome
Dennou Coil - awesome
Welcome to the NHK - weird but awesome
Ergo Proxy - awesome, but not for everyone

My favorite anime from this season is Michiko to Hatchin, don't know why I started watching it but its awesome. Same guy that did Bebop/Samurai Champloo is involved.

Need some suggestions again. Want to know what else is out there that is good to watch. Watching Naruto / Bleach weekly but that's not enough.

Fullmetal - loved it, wish there were more
Geass - loved it, ending was retarded
Tsuikama no Zero - love it, got retarded too at the end
Chaos Head - loved the main character lol hate the stupid sailor moon wannabe scouts
Junjou - Threw up after the first episode, never touching that again, nasty shit. No offense to gay boys.
Shakugan no Shana - Started slow, went slow, I didn't even finish it.
Soul Eater - going really slow . . . .
Fruit Basket - on and off
Chobits - retarded
Mi Hime - retarded sailor moon wannabe again

Is there anything else to watch? And no, no gundam or one piece. Those two are on and off for me.

If you want high quality production, "Dennou Coil" and "Last Exile" are awesome. I love those 2 series, because they don't seem to follow the typical anime stereotype. The characters were awesome once you get used to them.

"Toradora" and "Spice and Wolf" if you want a great love story/drama. Both series are short (12 episodes), and you should seriously think about giving them a try.

"Welcome to the NHK", "EF: tales of", "shigofumi", "xxx holic" are all great if you want to watch some depressing stuff. NHK is a must watch imo (even if the animation is terrible), the others listed are good, but not for everyone I guess.



And Death Note was great, don't listen to the hater. I personally would recommend reading the manga once you reach the 2nd arc tho, they cut too many important thing in the animes.

I don't have a nicovid account, but it's up on youtube. However, the official subs are fucking terrible. Not grammatically, but you can't read a damn thing and the timing sucks. Not to mention having to read what character is saying what really puts me off. Well, props for doing their own subs, but it looks like a really thrown together thing.

I wasnt really targeting you or anyone There is probably more people who didnt like the 2nd half than people who liked it.
However, it's definitively possible to enjoy it because I love that part (even if no one can top L)

L was a good antagonist (or protagonist, depending on how you see it), and the fact that Light was being amazingly cautious and calculating makes the whole interaction pretty fucking amazing.

Once he died, he just went ahead with his agenda, underestimating the 2 kids, and the 2 kids wasn't even nicely developed.

Most importantly, once L died, the whole interaction changes from "Kira vs L" into "Everyone nobody cares about vs Everyone nobody knows, wait who the fuck is he and why did he just die"

L vs Kira had pretty interesting interaction, N+M+FBI+people thinking Light is Kira vs Kira + nameless bitch i forgot + sakujoooooo in the other hand, is not nearly as fun to read, much less watch.

I understand why people think it was anticlimatic, and it was in a way, but it still had some interesting idea in the second half. I loved how his own team started doubting him and managed to find proof, I loved how Near introduced himself, and seeing Light go down was also nice...was waiting for this for a long time.
